entrepreneurs in remodeling their structure and their business with sustainability design
• Started to work on some
remodeling projects
S-UNIT S U S TA I N A B L E MOBILE HOUSES • Start Up 2013 • From a company of the
building sector, who started to produce wood houses
• Goal: produce modular mobile
houses to help campings and other structures to improve their offer on sustainability
• Started to remodel the first
camping with 25 units
CONCLUSIONS • All ideas started from traditional sectors (agricolture equipments, building
sector) to solve problems or caught new opportunities in the tourism sector
• All the entrepreneurs are in their 30s or 40s • All ideas refer to sustainability as the solution • None of them benefits of public funds except for supporting activities • Each of them would speed up a lot if supported by appropriate policies
(sustainable mobility in congestion areas, stable incentives and regulations for remodeling, clear regulations for mobile houses, …)
• You can help touristic sector to raise up its sustainability level by
stimulating related sectors to develop new products and services based on sustainability (systemic approach)
