KOSIT a.s. KOSIT company was founded on 21st February 2001. It is among the five most important companies in Slovakia in the field of waste management. It currently provides services to more than 260,000 inhabitants in eastern Slovakia and to 500 business entities. Kosit has 400 employees. The company is the holder of certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001:2007

KOSIT a.s. – provision of high level service Main activity: Waste Management as the main business activity: (collection of municipal solid waste, recycling, collection of hazardous waste, recultivation of landfills, decontamination of land and polluted areas, waste incineration and production of "green energy" from 2014). The collection/transport of waste is the main activity of the company. - from natural and legal persons. Using following containers: 110/ 120 liters, 1100 liters and plastic bags (PVC)

KOSIT a.s. – investor Waste disposal - Waste to Energy Plant Kosit is the owner of incinerator of MSW in Kokšov - Bakša, Košice. The incinerator was built in 1989. Kosit is the owner of the incinerator since 2001. The works on the largest investment Kosit were launched during the financial crisis in 2010 and are expected to be completed in 2013. The investment amounts to € 27 million and consists of the construction of a new line of incineration, new steam turbine and flue gas purification plant. The modernization will involve in an energy recovery with green energy production and stable operation in the future.
