Introduction Dear Colleague, This booklet has been designed to showcase what we stand for and believe in as a business. Jobboard Enterprises has been in existence for over 10 years and our parent company for over 25 years. This experience has helped us formulate a set of values that represent both SThree and more specifically our brand. The values represent everything we stand for and believe in. Success is at the heart of our business. However we need to ensure that we deliver success within a culture that is underpinned by our values. Our most important asset is you, in order for us to grow as a business and all move in the same direction we need some commonality. The values represent how we want you to operate as individuals and as a company. One of our strategies is to be the best place to work, in order to make this a reality we need to create the right culture and working environment. How did we come up with our business goal and supporting strategies The business made a conscious effort to ensure that the creation of both our goal and strategies was an inclusive process. Initially the management team worked with Henley business school to map out a strategic programme. A key step was to ensure that we engaged with a broad cross section of both our candidates and clients. The wider business rolled out a qualitative research project, firstly to get a view on how our business is perceived in the wider market, but more importantly to define future needs. This research piece was supported with industry statistics and competitor analysis. Once all the necessary materials were aggregated, there was a period of interrogation to develop a common business goal and to create a set of strategies that would ensure that every employee could play an active part in the delivering our ÂŁ25 million business goal by 2016.

Our values


Our values SThree rolled out a values review, this included the CEO visiting each one of the 140 offices, the objective was to uncover any gaps in both the culture and values of the business. A cultural review document was created and analysed by 60 top senior members of staff. Off the back of this a single set of values was created, workshops were set up to roll this out to the wider business. We felt that as a media orientated business, that we need to extend the SThree values to incorporate values that had revelance to our business. The management team worked on the creation of an extra set of four values, these were tested against employees and moulded to truly represent the entire company. Our own values were rolled out at an activity day Innovation, Collaboration, Courage & Passion were officially unveiled.
