Ages 18 and older. Follow the step-by-step instructions and use your fine motor skills to paint a simple dot art mandala on a stone using items found around the house as tools. Take your mind away from stress, one dot at a time. TRB

I want to ride my bike or scooter to the library. Where should I stow it? Bike racks are available on the southwest corner of the library. Bring a lock or check one out at the front desk. A limited supply of locks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you have tote bags to carry materials?

YES! We know you may find a variety of materials during your visit that you might not have anticipated. Please keep the tote bags out of the return boxes and drop them off at the front desk when finished.

I hear the Early Learning Area is a popular place for children to explore. How should I prepare for our visit? Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Stay together and keep your child in sight. Walking feet keep everyone safe.

CLASSES

We offer in-person ESL classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for adult learners.

To enroll in a class, students must first register for an ESL Intake Appointment. During the appointment, library staff will gather information about the student’s availability and their current English skills. Staff will then discuss class options with the student.

ESL LAB

Visit the ESL Lab on the second floor of the library and use our computers to learn English on your own time. Library staff and volunteers are available to assist you.

The lab also houses our ESL Tutor Collection, which contains instructional materials to assist those teaching or tutoring English language learners. These materials are available for use inside the library or for checkout.
