Now in its third year The Engineering Expo is a collaboration between industry, educators and innovators to showcase the best in Engineering and the future trends of this fast paced industry. Its an interactive, information sharing event which will see industry and students display their work and look forward to the brave new world of Engineering in Ireland.

WHERE Held on the grounds of IT Sligo the event will be based in the 2,000 capacity Knocknarea Arena. There is ample parking and easy access off the main N4 and just five minutes from bus and rail stations. The event is free to the public.

WHY Engineering industries are the heartbeat of many Irish Industries. It’s a fast paced area that is constantly evolving and the Engineering Expo is a showcase for young talented students in final year to show off their end of year projects as well as an opportunity for industry partners to showcase their business and the exciting innovations they are working with.
WHO Anyone who has an interest in future of engineering technology and its capabilities will be interested in this event. From industry looking to grow and recruit, to students looking for their first step into this exciting industry to younger people or those looking to understand the constantly evolving space that is Engineering in Ireland today. It is a chance for potential engineering students to gain knowledge of companies, interact with alumni and network with professional engineers. Participants at the Engineering Expo include Fortune 500 industry leaders, indigenous industry, and small and medium size companies from across Ireland. The Expo is open to the public and we encourage public engagement throughout the event. Our mission is to connect students, industry, and the community by inspiring future generations of engineers.
