Graphic Facilitation through iNOTE

Through iNOTE, Graphic Facilitation has been harnessed as a support mechanism. Graphic Facilitation supports the communication process, using graphics and key words, to multiple audiences. Through iNOTE: • A Graphic Facilitation digital badge was developed to support lecturers, students, PMSS staff, and external bodies to utilise the principles of UDL principles to support students; • A Graphic Facilitation digital badge for students has been developed; • Graphic facilitation has been used to promote ATU initiatives and highlight student support services.

Through the current wellbeing promotion sub-project, Graphic Facilitation was used as a tool to summarise the student health and wellbeing initiatives taking place across the campus each month. These graphics helped to raise student awareness of health and wellbeing supports available to them. Each month a graphic was emailed to students, displayed internally on college TV information displays and promoted through social media. This e-book showcases the monthly graphics and the potential of Graphic Facilitation as a novel method to promote inclusive communication processes in Higher Education Institutes (HEIs).
