I was planning on doing the astronaut idea but lack skills and time. I will revisit this idea in my free time Idea for first poster Idea for second poster
Idea 1 The main subject for this idea will be the instrument. The concept here is that the guitar is made up of the universe and the guitarist is creating music through the universe. This idea was originated from Muse’s live concert where there are a lot of galaxies decoration. Their old album covers also have planets and space elements in them. Most of the layout and style were borrowed from “Integration� poster because I really like the minimal aspect of it. I can also use pen tool to trace reference images of hands and guitar easily.

Inspiration This idea is also based on the space theme that occurs throughout Muse’s performances and albums. I re-draw the singer’s pose and combine it with illustrator.
The idea also came from this image “The New Yorker”. I like it’s simplicity and effectiveness. Although it uses a different technique I can still apply it into another context.

I re-draw the human to correct his proportion.
Method 1 I thought it would be interesting to make the man part of the text “Muse� because I thought his pose resembles the letter s. However, I thought it would not be obvious to the readers so I add letter s anyway for explaination
Method 2 Text is a song quote “Together we are invincible�. This is also eye-catching but I feel that the texts are not clear enough for the readers to see it. I think this idea will work better because it has both typography and image.
