• The water cycle is the movement and changes of state of water around the Earth.

3. Precipitation When the clouds cool, water from the clouds fall as rain. If it’s very cold, the water freezes and falls as snow.

4. Collection The water falls to the ground, eventually goes into rivers. It can travel to the rivers across the surface of the Earth or underground. Rivers take the water back to the ocean and seas.

Now the cycle starts again.
