IU Said YES— Congratulations! Next Up: New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation

Get Ready for New Student Orientation

How do you become an official IU Hoosier? Start by attending the two-day New Student Orientation (NSO) program in Bloomington this summer.

NSO is required of all new students—once you attend, you’ll know why!

First Things First Now that you’ve been admitted, there are a few things you need to do: 1. Complete your Intent to Enroll form at intenttoenroll.indiana.edu so we know to invite you to NSO. We will begin to send invitations in midMarch. Once you’re invited, you can make your reservation and choose your preferred dates online. 2. Complete the setup of your @indiana.edu email address at itaccounts.iu.edu. Start checking your IU Bloomington email account on a regular basis. 3. Go to fafsa.gov to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 4. Go to rps.indiana.edu/housing.cfml to fill out your on-campus housing application. 5. Stay Connected. Explore the FYE website and follow us on social media. You’ll get updates for the online tasks you’ll need to complete before NSO and tips for success throughout your first year at IU.
