Message From Headquarters Dear reader, When you hear the name Cabos, what image does it evoke? Is it superb fishing, the famous arch in the iconic Land’s End, the incredible underwater fauna that teems with life the waters of Mar de Cortes? Whatever your idea is, be sure of one thing: Cabos is a destination that has it all for the perfect business meeting. Cabos is located in Baja, known for its sun-washed beaches. Its skies are unblemished blue. It is the earth’s 2nd longest peninsula. What an inviting setting for the perfect get together with your guests! There's so much more to Cabo San Lucas travel than just lying on the beach holding a margarita. The blessed climate and endless water-based activities are just the beginning for this Baja paradise. Among the top things to do are: Aquatic activities like fishing, snorkeling and surfing, whale watching tours, golfing, feasting on the best of Baja's bounty, and much more! Come and enjoy pristine beaches, luxury resorts and fine dining. Cabo will bring the most exhausted travelers back to life with an array of life-infusing activities. Sincerely, Jose-Manuel (Manolo) GARCIA, CIS President

Interview with Yazmin ELOSEGUI
Corporate Marketing Coach IVI DMC2 Los Cabos
CQ: Please tell us your current position in IVI DMC² and how long you have been with the company.
CQ: What is it that makes your destination so brilliant? YE: Los Cabos - or the land's end as it also called - is a world-class resort destination. Here you can find contrasting landscapes everywhere you turn . One still can find untouched beaches at the Sea of Cortes or at the Pacific Ocean. There is so much to do and see besides the known water activities. Right by the beach you can go horseback riding, go on a camel safari or offroading the desert and sand dunes on UTVs or ATVs. And away from the beach you can find fine and nice dining, world-class spas, championship golf courses. But must importantly, in our destination you can find a friendly culture and a relaxing environment.
YE: For the last 2 years I have served as Corporate Marketing Coach. CQ: Why do you enjoy working in the M&E industry? YE: Nothing beats the feeling when an event comes to life after months or years of planning; and when I see happy clients and attendees talking about the great time they had there are no words to express that feeling. True, my job has its challenges such as deadlines, working against the clock, unpredictable weather, last minutes changes, but the end result pays off. Also, sharing the load with my team from beginning to end is very rewarding. I love it when all the brainstorming of ideas become a reality; it is fun to share this passion with other colleagues. 4
Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are just 25 minutes apart; they are somehow different but have one thing in common: a lively environment with art galleries, live music, dances, and artistic events that express Mexico’s true essence.

Todos Santos “Magic Town Deep in the desert of Baja California Sur, there is an oasis of green crops and fruit orchards. This is Todos Santos, a fascinating town where the interaction of diverse cultures is an everyday thing and tourists are enchanted by the varied artistic activities taking place in this community, through multiple festivals and galleries, for example. Here you will also experience the charm of its streets that are full of tradition and its peaceful beaches as you contemplate over the Pacific horizon. Todos Santos is home to surf champions, artists, and foreigners who have found this town to be the best place to live. Founded in 1733 when the mission of Santa Rosa de Todos
Santos was settled in Baja, this town that we recommend is located 50 miles from Cabo San Lucas and 64 miles from San JosĂŠ del Cabo. What makes Todos Santos so irresistible is its pleasant climate, its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, and the vast tourism.

GOLF Los Cabos, including Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor (the golden corridor)
continues
to
attract
visitors
as
one
of
the
world's
top
golf
destinations.
There are a number of reasons why this is so, one of them is the weather, at least 350 sunny days. The second reason is the number and quality of the golf courses located here since the opening
of
the
first
field
championship
golf
at
Palmilla
in
the
early
1990s.
In addition, the golf industry in Los Cabos is constantly growing, as is the case of the most recent inclusions to the Golf Club Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo (both Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman designed 9 holes each) and now Diamond CSL on the side of the course designed by Tiger Woods. Even the golf courses that are part of resorts in the Cabo area are of a very high level as well, for example, the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf and Spa Resort appeared as number 9 on the list of the "50 Best Hotels Golf outside the United States in the magazine Golf Digest, this thanks to its association with the Cabo del Sol.

Up, Up, and Away You’ve made your plans, packed your bags, bought your plane ticket, and managed to get to the airport. Now it’s time for you to get on the plane and, as they say onboard, “Sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight”. That airlines are not designed for comfort is no secret. An airline’s chief asset is to get you to your destination as quickly as possible. So it’s up to you to make yourself as comfortable as you can under not-so-great conditions. “Grab a stack of pillows and blankets to shove behind your back - and five Bloody Marys - and maybe you won’t suffer too much.” -William A.
