Chichen Itza Light & Sound Show Chichen Itza is located 200 km (125 miles) west of Cancun. This is by far the most famous archeological site in the Yucatan Peninsula. Chichen Itza was founded in 445 CE. In 1204 CE it was mysteriously abandoned. The city is divided into two areas: Old Chichen Itza, built between 600 CE - 900 CE; and New Chichen Itza, constructed in the 10th century.

The pyramid of Kukulcan is undoubtedly the most impressive structure at Chichen Itza: rising over 90 feet including the Jaguar Shrine. Every equinox a unique vision takes place, as the sunlight and shadows on the north staircase of the pyramid gives the illusion of a descending serpent called Kukulcan.

At night, enjoy the spectacular sound and light show where the magic of technology brings the main structures of the site to colorful life accompanied by a charming historical narration. During this fascinating trip, our expert English speaking guide will explain the in-depth details surrounding this ancient civilization, which was a big contributor in the agricultural, mathematical, and scientific fields

Doctor Travel’s: 10 Travel Commandments Would you like to enjoy a trouble-free journey? Then Dr. Travel's 10 travel commandments would be helpful to keep in mind: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Make your reservation early. Get a seat assignment. Request a special meal, even a kid's meal. Ask for a reasonable amount of time between airplane connections. Carry information letters or numbers for hotel and car rentals. Take only credit cards that have not reached their credit limit. Familiarize yourself with your travel plans. Either leave a schedule at home or at your business so you can be contacted, if necessary. 8. Take any medications with you. Do not check-in anything you may need on the trip. 9. Stretch, relax, chat, read, watch a movie, and drink only nonalcoholic liquids. 10. Ask for help! (Taken from the preface) James Feldman, (a.k.a.
