Proxyt phrophylaxis pastes clean gently and efficiently, avoiding any unnecessary abrasion of the teeth or roughening of restorative surfaces. The xylitol and fluoride gently optimize the effectiveness of Proxyt. While the natural xylitol hampers bacterial metabolism and the development of new plaque, the fluoride protects the tooth structure.
