Leonardo da Vinci Artist,

researcher who, by his insatiable curiosity and multifaceted genius, represents the most perfect model of the Renaissance man (Vinci, Tuscany,

-

Amboise,

Touraine, 1519). Leonardo da Vinci was the illegitimate son of a Florentine lawyer, who did not allow him to meet his mother, a modest peasant. Leonardo was trained as an artist in Florence in the workshop of Andrea Verrocchio; but much of his career developed in other Italian cities such as Milan (where he stayed between 1489 and 1499 under the patronage of Duke Ludovico Sforza, il Moro) and Rome (where he worked for Giulio de 'Medici). Although the three arts practiced, has not kept any of his sculptures and it seems that none of the buildings he designed was never built, so his work as a sculptor and architect signs are only in their personal notes and sketches. It is, therefore, the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci that has made him stand out as a character summit in the history of art, because twenty-preserved paintings, among which La Gioconda Omona Lisa, The Annunciation, The Virgin of the Rocks, the Last Supper, the Virgin and Santa Ana, the Adoration

Interested by all branches of knowledge and all aspects of life, Leonardo left notes (written from right to left and dotted with drawings) also contain forays into other artistic fields like music (which emphasized playing lira) or literature. In his opinion should be no separation between art and science, as there was none in their research, directed preferentially towards subjects like human anatomy (advance knowledge of muscles, eye or blood circulation) , zoology (with particular attention to the mechanisms of flight of birds and insects), geology (with accurate observations on the origin of fossils), astronomy (land on which he anticipated Galileo in defending that Earth was only a planet in the Solar System), physics or engineering. In the latter field was where his talent precursor judgment of later generations became more evident as Leonardo drew many machines did not disclose his

contemporaries and that the technique has finally become reality centuries later equipment navigation (like a submarine, a diving bell and a life), flying machines (like parachute, helicopter and a kind of inspired by the wings of birds to fly a man), war machines (like a portable bridge and advance the chariot of the twentieth century), civil engineering (such as water pipes or manufactured homes), machine tools (such as a spinner, a laminator, a dredge or cutting screws), fortifications, etc. . However, the genius of Leonardo he headed for so many different purposes than just exerted influence on the progress of the various fields touched (though I did get a great personal prestige, which has lasted until today): many of the projects they undertook were unfinished when attracted new interest; and in terms of inventions, he simply develop meaningful ideas, but no effort to translate them into viable models that might work, so most of his research was theoretical speculation without practical consequences. They concentrated from 1516 when, with hands affected by paralysis, he went to live in France under the protection of Francisco I.

REFLECTION THIS PART learned: in affirmative sentences using simple past, the letter e and d stands when a regular verb is used as an irregular verb changes the verb is used. when we have a negative sentence, we place an auxiliary, it did. places the verb in the infinitive. When we ask a question placed first auxiliary, then the subject, then our infinitive verb, complement. This part helped me to know the simple past.
