100 DAYS OF SCHOOL

ANGELS LEARN IMPORTANCE OF PROPER RECYCLING Representatives from Republic Services visited with students to discuss recycling dos and don’ts on January 11th. Recycling Manager, Jonathan Keene, talked to Angels about what you can and cannot put in the recycle bin, how to properly dispose of recyclables, and how to become better recyclers to preserve our landfills. At the end of the presentation, Republic Services presented recycle bins to be distributed to every Elementary Level classroom, making recycling easier for all of our Angels.

Elementary Level students in Mrs. Elizondo’s Traditional K3 and Mrs. McCracken’s Traditional K4/K5 classes celebrated their 100th Day of School with a delicious pancake breakfast on January 23rd. Students were decked out with custom made crowns and t-shirts adorned with 100 items to commemorate the day.

MAY CROWNING OF MARY The Elementary Level gathered to crown the statue of Mary as the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, May 13th in the Chapel. This is the anniversary of the first apparition of our Lady of Fatima. The Mary’s Angels Club began with a procession, and led the community of students and teachers in a holy rosary. Many students brought flowers to honor Mary by placing them at the foot of her statue.
