PHOTOGRAPHY
Rakesh Malik Cinematography is photography in motion. Lighting is the most important part of the process, and often the most complex. Keeping lighting consistent from shot to shot without letting the cameras see the lighting fixtures can be challenging, and in some locations finding enough space to place a light outside of the frame is challenging. While light is every bit as important in nature photography, it's much simpler.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Guste Sakalauskaite I'm a portrait and fashion film photographer from Lithuania, currently living in Melbourne. My work often features portraits in natural settings, like the sea or personal environments, capturing raw and authentic moments that reflect my own emotions and experiences. Through my work I try to capture the feeling of my state of being at that moment in time. I hope that others are able to feel the emotion and are able to find connection through their own experiences. "Self-love & Reflections' is a body of work I've created during my month residency at @studiokura in Itoshima, Japan in June. The body of work is a reflection of who I am at this moment in time. Over the years, I’ve been learning the concept of ‘self-love,’ and I think I’ve come close to accepting who I am on my journey of self-discovery.

Derbyshire Photography The photographs represent a recent study of woodland on a moor. The stark black and white tones, coupled with the fog-shrouded trees, create a haunting atmosphere that draws the viewer in. It's a perfect representation of my photography style - I strive to capture the beauty in the overlooked, the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

Fadil Inceoglu I am a Turkish-born artist and scientist living in Miami Beach, Florida. My journey began with a move to Denmark to pursue a Ph.D. in physics, which marked the start of a diverse academic career spanning Denmark, Germany, and the USA. My photography is a reflection of objectivism, where the focus is on capturing reality as it is—unfiltered, raw, and precise. I strive to create images that embody clarity of vision.

Dawn Louise Knott My name is Dawn Louise Knott. I am a 55 year old artist who, until two months ago, hadn’t painted in over 20 years. I previously painted abstracts in acrylic. Last summer my husband bought me a pyrography tool, it wasn’t until this July I plucked up the courage to try it out. Creating portraits burned into wood reminded me of just how much I enjoy art. I went out and bought myself some oil paints, new brushes, canvas boards and stretched canvases. I started painting again in August and I enjoy every second of it. Rustic Peace is the first (successful) product of my fledgling art career, it is an adaptation of a photograph taken by my son near Cusworth Hall in South Yorkshire, UK.

David Aiazzi David Aiazzi was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in a small village 15 miles north of Florence. David’s passion for art started early in his childhood. David was a shy child and found himself gravitated towards creative activities instead of common toys for children. His parents noticed his love for art and encouraged him to pursue his passion. David studied under the painter and illustrator Stano Dusik. Dusik is mainly famous for children’s book illustrations. He also studied and received a degree in restoration of paintings at Bottega Migliorini in Florence. Due to being exposed to Florence’s artistic heritage and the birthplace of the Renaissance, David was both challenged and inspired. In 2009, during a vacation to Spain, David met his wife and eventually moved to the United States.

Richard Mortimer My art explores my ill mental health from bipolar. Recreating my mania, depression, delusions and hallucinations, I use whichever mediums I have at hand to portray the extreme emotions I endure. There is beauty to be found in the darkness. There is horror to be found in the light. Welcome to my brain.

Regine Ling I don’t like to tittle my work.I believe that pictures read us as we read pictures. Every time we find something in it is only because art pieces reflect our deep and hidden status. Everything on my way attracts me. I always stand somewhere for a while try to grasp all its beauty into my mind. That will become a vision, and I start. I face my artwork then I will see the lines, shapes, colors appear. I work after them. Leaving my homeland HK, staying in a small Uk town, traveling around Europe, brushing out those different skies and Inspirative multicultural elements encourages me to move on! I paint because of hope, hoping that everyone can get something from my work.

GRAPHIC ART
Lesina Tupai I am a young contemporary artist who’s recently rediscovered their spark in art again. I was faced with the blessing and torment of a sweet experience gone bad, causing a rapid decline in my mental health. This, in turn, fuelled my appetite for a creative awakening which has given me results and unintentional relief. I have always struggled with expressing the deeper emotions that we all have.

GRAPHIC ART
Lushriot Art Mary is a Florida-based artist, creating bold, semi-abstract artworks, hand drawn or hand painted, inspired by her fascination with oceans, marine life, and tropical islands. Flowing lines giving a sense of movement, positive/negative shapes, and stark contrasts combine to showcase the playfulness and beauty that exists where nature flourishes without human interruption. Pieces in her One Line Design collection consist of only one shape created with one continuous line, representing our connection to all things. Each piece is sketched first in pencil, on paper or canvas, then outlined and filled in with inks or paints.

Dongyan Chen: Botanical Paradigm
Botanical Paradigm presents a series of imaginary plants that Chen developed during her three-month residency at INSTINC. The exhibition takes its title from the concept of a ‘paradigm’—a distinctive set of ideas or thought patterns that serve as a lens for observing and understanding the world. Through the paradigm of fictional botany, Chen seeks to challenge and reconsider conventional perceptions of nature and reality, conducting a dialogue that bridges the natural and the synthetic, the traditional and the technological.
