Matthew, your work is known for its unique combination of graphics, collage, and specific types of aerosol paints Can you share your creative process and how you developed this distinctive style that fully conveys the atmosphere of the New Age concept of the 21st century?

My artistic journey began with an exploration of various techniques and materials. I experimented with graphics, collage, and aerosol paints. This process allowed me to understand how these elements interacted and which combinations worked best. Each technique evoked specific emotions in people.

However, I questioned the status quo: What if we shattered this pattern and expanded the boundaries of perception? It was from this inquiry that new techniques emerged ones that encapsulate the rebellious spirit of the 21st century These techniques reflect the relentless pursuit of digitalization and the hunger for novel sensations

'Having received several international awards in cities like Beijing, Moscow, and New York, how has this recognition impacted your career and artistic development? Can you describe any particular moments or accolades that have been especially meaningful to you?

Of course, when experts and colleagues appreciate my art work, it motivates me to explore new methods and topics International recognition has expanded my audience and allowed my art to transcend geographic boundaries Exhibitions, awards, publications in different cities connected me with art lovers from all over the world

Your journey from Ukraine to Israel and now the United Kingdom has turned your art into a cosmopolitan dialogue. How have your experiences in these diverse locations influenced your work and the themes you explore in your art?

The interplay of cultures shapes my visual language Whether through digital collages or other techniques, I strive to evoke emotions and provoke thought

The fusion of ideas, traditions, and worldviews enriches my work, making it a reflection of our interconnected, multicultural world While every person worldwide faces similar fundamental issues, their life experiences and cultural backgrounds leave a unique imprint, influencing how they navigate challenges within their specific societal context.

You are often described as a philosopher of your time, with your works reflecting new cultural diversity and unusual genres. Can you discuss the philosophical underpinnings of your art and how you use symbolism and abstract techniques to convey deeper meanings?

In my artistic practice, I employ symbols to convey layered meanings By doing so, I bridge the gap between the visible and the hidden, inviting viewers to engage in contemplation For instance, a recurring symbol may represent transformation, duality, or concealed truths.

Abstract art, particularly in its graphic form, allows me to evoke emotions, provoke thought, and challenge conventional interpretations. Viewers become active participants, co-authors of meaning. My art reflects the entire spectrum of the rebellious 21st century with its wars and hopes. It portrays the delicate boundary between illusion and reality.

In addition to your visual art, you have authored non-commercial publications like 'Zero Emotion,' 'Elysium,' and 'Philosophy of the XXI Century: On the Other Side of Truth ' How do these written works complement your visual art, and what messages do you aim to communicate through both mediums?

In my books, I explore the idea that emotions are multifaceted and intricate. While a person may display a single emotion on their face, their soul harbors a rich palette of feelings from love to hatred. I refer to this as the "Zero Emotion."

Through my books, collages, graphics, paintings, and installations, I aim to evoke a spectrum of emotions in viewers, prompting them to engage in self-reflection about their place in the world and life's purpose I seek to evoke that elusive, intangible "Zero Emotion ”
