The Herring industry is a strong industry in New englands, even though it may look wimpy next to the scallop and lobster giants. Though, there has been a massive increase in demand and only a double in supply

The lobster industry in the gulf of Maine has seen an irregular jump in profit when compared to the jump in landings. The per pound landing has over doubled, though the jump in profits is over five times greater in 2014 then it was in 1991. Will this continue to flourish, or is it possible that the trend will reverse and face the same fate of the cod industry.

Interestingly the pounds landed hasn’t changed in over twenty years, though the price has doubled. Also, there is the most amount of restricted land, so it is less surprise the amount caught is roughly the same.

Classy, simple and elegant design for MY25. A financial app dedicated to fiscal success. Blue is associated with the finance industry as well as success.

XXV

Other iterations for my25, in this case the client asked for a simpler, black and white logo and we wanted to experiment with different iconography, At the time we were using a lion, also designed by me, as the branding standard for the app. The tail is a node to that.

The client asked for a more retro pallet. This was an important part of the design process because, I knew it this was a stretch his clientele would want to connect with this, yet I wanted him to feel comfortable in the process and investigate ideas for the sake of understanding his brand further. In the end this wasn’t used, but it was helpful to direct a better conversation about the project.

For this product, Tier25, we wanted to incorporate the idea of gamification and financial tracking into one image. The images use old school styling, with literal tiers that spell out TIER when sideways.

25

25

This icon, was the final choice for the same client. It signifies raising the bar and financial success with blue as the color and an arrow lifting off and pointing upward.

Another Tier25 took a literal look at the idea of gamification and tiers by having a tier cake like object be the focal point of the design, with the 25 branding as the top tier.

This app, the box, is a logo underdevelopment. It is literal looking into a box, inside your phone. This stands out among the rest of the typically flat icons that would surround it in a tasteful and simple way.
