George Brummer Park (Palm Aire Park) The Engineering Division developed a new park on this 5 acre parcel of city property in the Palm Aire subdivision. This aerial photo show the existing site prior to construction.

George Brummer Park (Palm Aire Park) This rendering shows the master plan for the park as designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners, which includes the following amenities: 1) six tennis courts; 2) three handball courts; 3) two playgrounds; 4) a basketball court; 5) an outdoor fitness facility; 6) a pavilion; 7) a volleyball court; 8) two bocce ball courts; 9) and a large waterfront open space for community events and activities. Bathroom facilities and a parking lot were also incorporated into the master plan.

This aerial shows the completed job built by MBR Construction. The Grand Opening of George Brummer Park was December 12th, 2011.

Ninth Avenue Bridge The Engineering Division is developing a replacement bridge for the existing out-moded 9th Avenue canal bridge located in the Cypress Lakes Estates subdivision. This rendering shows the architect’s conception of what the new 9th Avenue canal bridge, designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners, will look like upon completion.

Fire Station No. 11 The Engineering Division is developing a replacement facility for the Oceanside Fire Station No. 11. This rendering shows the architect’s conception of what the new Fire Station, designed by Currie, Sowards, Aguila Architects, will look like upon completion. It is currently under construction by JCon Group Construction.

Fire Station No. 103 The Engineering Division is developing a replacement facility for Cresthaven Fire Station No. 3. This rendering shows the architect’s conception of what the new Fire Station, designed by Currie, Sowards, Aguila Architects, will look upon completion.

Pompano Beach Municipal Golf Course The Engineering Division is re-developing the City’s Pines Golf Course as a Greg Norman ”Signature” course. The irrigation will be improved with a state-of-the-art satellite control system. This rendering depicts the Greg Norman design which is being constructed by QGS Development.

Airpark Maintenance Shed At the Pompano Beach Air Park, The Engineering Division is managing the construction of a 3500 SF storage shed for airpark maintenance equipment. This photo depicts construction in progress.
