Quick studys of viking characters to see if I could draw them in my style and make it work.
Pushing forward and exploring clothing. making meterials look like what they are made out of is going to be the challenging part for my cominc characters.
Here I was experimenting with chain mail. I studied how other comic book artists have drawn it and experimented with it my self. My own was too detailed and look a mess when from a distance
Here I experimented with cloth. I felt that this and leather would be th e hardest thing to express in my comic here I tired out different ways to show cloth.
This was the out come for expressing cloth. Little lines that flow around creasers that express movment show the light fall of the Cloth witch does make it look light as cloth would be.
