WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A LAWYER: “I wanted to be a lawyer because I felt it was the best way to use my talents to help people. Everyday I get to use my talents to help small businesses and families grow their business. I also get to work everyday to get good people elected to public office.” FAVORITE FICTIONAL LAWYER (from film, television, book, etc.): “Vinny from My Cousin Vinny or Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.”
CHELSEA HARRIS ► YEARS PRACTICING LAW: 14 FIRM & AREA OF PRACTICE: Coker Law; Plaintiff Personal Injury Trial Work WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A LAWYER: “When I was in fifth grade we had a school project where we acted out a scene from a book. I was assigned to be an attorney and I loved it and wanted to be an attorney from that point forward. I was also a ballerina growing up all the way through college. My parents often say I still get to be ‘on stage’ through my role as a trial attorney.” FAVORITE FICTIONAL LAWYER (from film, television, book, etc): “Olivia Pope—always good to have a powerful woman in your corner!” Δ APRIL 2020 / JACKSONVILLEMAG.COM

arry B. Ansbacher is the managing partner of Ansbacher Law. He is recognized as one of Florida’s leading attorneys. For nearly 32 years, Barry has specialized in real estate, construction and community association law. He is the only lawyer in Florida to achieve triple board certification by the Florida Bar in Construction Law, Condominium and Planned Development Law and Real Estate Law. A Jacksonville native and University of Florida College of Law graduate, Barry began working as a lawyer with his father, Lewis “Lukie” Ansbacher. In 1997, Barry founded Ansbacher Law, a rapidly expanding firm with offices in Jacksonville, Fleming Island, Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine. Barry and his team of 30 legal professionals at Ansbacher Law serve condominium associations, homeowner associations, property owners, personal injury victims, and commercial clients. The transactional team at Ansbacher Law represents buyers, sellers, and lenders for both residential and commercial properties. Barry delivers results in every practice area. He transformed a failing retail mall into a world-class office park, procuring international equity financing and negotiating the construction contract. In 2016, Barry obtained a landmark jury verdict on behalf a condominium association, resulting in a judgment of nearly 14 million dollars against the nation’s largest home builder. Ansbacher Law has achieved multiple successful jury verdicts for its personal injury clients. Most recently, Barry represented a car accident victim in Clay County who received a jury verdict exceeding two million dollars. Barry Ansbacher is recognized by his peers and clients as a leading trial attorney and counselor. He has achieved recognition by SuperLawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, Top 100 Trial Attorneys, Construction Lawyers Society of America and Who’s Who in American Law. He holds the highest ratings from both Martindale-Hubbell® (AV-Preeminent) and AVVO (10/10 – Superb).

WHAT TO ORDER
Salad Pie The salad pizza is something David-Massett had growing up on Long Island—a cold Italian style salad dropped poured over top of a classic, piping hot cheese topped pie.
^ The interior of Sun-Ray Cinema’s new Pizza Cave! calls to mind the a psychedelic cave.
S AMERICAN A PASTIME AS THEY MIGHT BE TODAY, MOVIE THEATRE CONCESSIONS were actually borne out of the Great Depression, when owners began selling cheap concessions at high margins as a way to keep their theaters afloat. All these decades later, there’s still something fun and childlike about eating at the movies—particularly if the theater offers more than popcorn and candy.
A
dough. You can create your own pie, but the house-developed specials are all excellent. The Godbold ($10), for instance, offers the perfect ratio of cheese, pulled pork and layered coins of sweet pickles, with a BBQ sauce spiral. Or try the Bozo Texino Special—named after talented filmmaker Bill Daniel—an order of cheese pizza and two PBRs for $10, which speaks to Pizza Cave’s desire to offer an approachable menu.
At Five Points’ Sun-Ray Cinema, movie-goers can tuck in to everything from vegan hot dogs to Caesar salads—though it’s the homemade pizza that keeps people coming back. “We decided to serve the very best pizza we could to customers in their movie theatre seats,” says Sun-Ray owner Shana DavidMassett. “Customers decided they liked our pizza so much they wanted to eat it in the lobby or have it delivered when they weren't planning to watch a movie. We decided to try to offset slower periods in film releases by opening a seating area to serve our existing menu.” So, Sun-Ray’s Pizza Cave! was born.
The Cave! also features salads, nachos, and sandwiches—and many have nods to their movie roots. The Black Lagoon Supreme ($11.5) is not at all scary, it’s a perfectly balanced combination of sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic, and kalamata olives. The Godfather salad ($10) is an offer you can’t refuse. It’s stacked like an Italian sub with meats and cheeses—just with a little more lettuce. Don’t get spooked by the Ghost and Mr. Chicken sandwich, a nice piece of juicy chicken with house-made buffalo style sauce sandwiched between a potato roll ($8.5). Sandwiches come with chips or you can swap them for another side.
The Cave! is just a few doors down from the theater, on Riverside’s Park Street. Once inside, you’ll be transported from the crushingly bright, noisy, hot street to a cozy, darkened space that is more cavelike than you’d expect (and calls to mind a scene from Netflix’s Stranger Things). Stalactites hang from the ceiling. Psychedelic murals adorn the walls. At your table, you’ll peek into tiny, detailed caves with divers searching for pizza gems. Of course, the thing to order here is pizza, and each 10-inch pie is carefully constructed for the perfect bite, laced with signature sauce on top of homemade
Some of the menu offerings veer more playful. Who else but the Sun-Ray team would think to put kimchi, a fried egg, queso, marinara and a dusting of bright green spirulina on a pile of fries, for instance? (They’re called Swamp Fries and they are an excellent medley of umami, salt and spice.) For the real Sun-Ray experience, though, DavidMassett recommends opting for a salty-sweet duo. “You can't go wrong with french fries and a chocolate shake during a movie,” she says. “The dipping ritual is oddly soothing.” u
Something to Drink? A cooler full of sodas—think Mexican Coca-Cola, Root Beer and the like—greets diners upon entry.
