Location: Paris, France Type of hotel: Boutique style hotel. We assume that our clients have a fruitful day at work and come to their hotel room to get away from it all. Feel: Elegant and modern, place to relax and to go “wow” Target group: primarily business travel, possibly romantic getaways
Design inspiration…
Design concept: bubbly celebration experience We want to create an experience of celebration by using a champagne glass as a focal point in a hotel room. This “champagne glass” is where we are placing our bathroom. The walls of “the glass” will be filled 3/4 with “champagne” to ensure a privacy. The remaining ¼ part of the “glass” will remain transparent like in a real glass. In the center of the champagne glass bathroom we will hang a black classic French chandelier which will be visible outside of the bathroom. This chandelier will also serve as a main light for the rest of the room. Material used for making champagne glass walls is tensioned Lycra which is digitally patterned for bubbles effect and custom tailored.
