Window 101
Welcome back to Morris Hall College flies by; let's get people excited about the race/ journey by using accessory design to promote a message of hard work and a fun journey. To take any type of physical journey, shoes are necessary, so the shoe and shoelaces create symbolism of a creative journey at SCAD. Our idea could be presented in multiple ways. By printing or embroidering majors on the laces, this message is furthered pushed. Furthermore, this can be represented by a digital backdrop of a skateramp that provides movement and the sports mood suggests speed, endurance and teamwork. Collaborating with an accessories designer or fibers student to highlight student work would be ideal; however, the message could be presented by purchased items as well. The skate backdrop could also be a staged photoshoot conducted by our group or simply a digtal image from the web.
