CONFINDUSTRIA
Confidustria is the most important representative organ for manufacturing and service companies in Italy. Today, almost 150 thousand companies are grouped together. The role of Confindustria is to stimulate local companies through national and international exhibitions.
The companies in our territory today are experiencing a period of crisis but this should not discourage the entrepreneur and our companies.
Confindustria plays an important role for the alternating work school, in fact, through various initiatives, the associated companies in Confindustria, open the doors to schools that begin to relate to the world of work.
AUTOLINEE FEDERICO Spa
In 1929 Autolinee Federico Spa was set up, a family-run company that operates in the transport sector. Their aim was to develop and grow in Calabria, in fact, it is now one of the largest companies in Calabria. “Our aim, as businessmen, is doing business�, says Pietro Federico, Interbus Administrator. It provides transport and rental services.
The company is essentially based in the area, in fact, its offices are in Calabria, mainly in Reggio Calabria and Catanzaro. Nowadays, there are over 150 employees and numerous vehicles which link Calabria and the rest of Italy.
DEDALUS s.r.l.
Dedalus s.r.l is found in the zone of GIOIA TAURO (RC), is a company that has operated since 2002 in the sector of the aerial transport. It effects connections with the airports of the South Italy allowing to reach any destination in rapid times.
It is the first company that offers services for operating of telecommunications. The safety of the services is guaranteed from the high reliability of the means of transport and from the experience of the crews that you/they undertake an obligatory professional formation to reduce the accidents on the job. The company was born for the entrepreneurial spirit. The job is born for the need to want to purchase a good. The objective is that to want to satisfy the need of the client and to reduce more always the encumbrances and to increase the potential. The company has important relationships with the foreign countries. The most important client is Germany. There are besides some visits from the foreign countries because every month a technician makes controls.
MANGIATORELLA Spa
Mangiatorella Spa is one of the most important entrepreneurial realities in the South of Italy. Mangiatorella mineral water is the most popular in Calabria and in Sicily, for its interesting history, lightness, and also beneficial effect on the human body.
The company carries out productive, business and marketing activities. It takes into account the environment and how to protect it, in order to fulfill the company’s mission: to satisfy the client’s needs. The technologically advanced manufacturing plant is situated a few metres from the spring, in a wooded area near Stilo (150 km from Reggio Calabria). The company distributes its products to Calabria, Sicily and other regions in the South of Italy, as well as to Canada, Malta, Australia, Poland, Great Britain, United States of America and Kazakhstan. Workers and suppliers all come from the local territory.
FATTORIA DELLA PIANA
Fattoria della Piana is an agricultural cooperative which gives employment to 100 shepherds and 130 employees.
Every farmer partner breeds animals, produces milk and then sends it to the cooperative which transform it into cheese. The goal is to enhance the product conferred by partners as much as possible, so that all the farmers can live on it. Products are sold to the Italian and International market. Most of the exports go to America. The cooperative works in energy from renewable sources, so the whole system is environmentally friendly.
