JULY (2) 2010 - NEWSLETTER

A FEW LAST WORDS JIHIHJJHHHHK```````````````````````

2009/10 has been a fantastic year cumulating with yet another tremendous Sports Day last week and also our Open Evening tonight (6pm onwards) The children have worked so hard during the year and I am so proud of their many achievements in a variety of areas of school life. A visitor to the school recently said to me, “This is a special place, the children are encouraged to be free range chickens, not battery hens.” As Headteacher, and on behalf of every member of staff, I’d like to thank every single child, parent, carer and relative for their support of the school during the year. Have a very enjoyable break, whatever you have planned, and I look forward to welcoming you all back in September. Take care. Karl Pearce

OPEN EVENING MONDAY 19TH JULY – 6PM-8.30PM Everyone is warmly invited to our Open Evening tonight. It’s something a bit different and we hope that you will all be able to support us – the children have put a great deal of work into their performances. We would be delighted to see whole families there. All children are involved in a range of activities/performances (starting at 6pm) either in the hall or, weather permitting, on the top playground. Red Class need to be ready for a prompt start at 6pm. All children are performing in at least one physical activity and need to be dressed appropriately. A range of children’s work will be on display throughout the school for all of you to see. We feel that this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to see what actually goes on here and celebrate our successes.
