MARCH 2014 - NEWSLETTER A VERY HECTIC COUPLE OF WEEKS The last two weeks of term look set to be extremely JIHIHJJHHHH interesting with consecutive residential trips, a whole school trip to Duxford, an Easter egg hunt, family film night and photographs to name a just a few. Whilst the Year 6 children are away having their ‘African Adventure’ the rest of the school will be following up the trip to Duxford with a range of activities relating to the theme of ‘flight’. We’re asking for any materials you may have at home (such as cardboard boxes and particularly bubble wrap) to be sent in to help resource some of the activities, please.

V We have been offered 20 'free' children's tickets (with the opportunity to buy additional children's tickets at £3 and adult tickets at £10) from Ipswich Town regarding a ticket promotion for their fixture against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 12th April (during the Easter break). This is a huge promotion being undertaken by the club with schools and groups across the county - demand is expected to be high. I think that the best way of doing this is to allocate the children's tickets to who wishes to go and then divide the additional cost, if there are more than 20 children, between the total number of children. I hope that this makes sense... Please let Mr Pearce know any requirements for child and adult tickets (which will need to be paid for) by the end of this week (Friday 21st) so he can get this organised before the very hectic last 2 weeks of term.
