CHILDREN IN NEED Friday 18th November sees the annual ‘Children in Need’ fundraising day. Again, we will be trying to make a coin trail around the school and are asking the children to bring in ‘coppers’ as a donation to produce the trail. As for ‘show your spots and help raise lots’, which is the drive behind this year’s campaign, we’re asking the children to come in spotty – we’ll leave that to everyone’s imagination! Children may also bring in their own ‘Teddy’ if they wish. If any children have any other ideas, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan and inform everyone well in advance.

The majority of these events are being either funded or organised by the PTFA – please try to support them at the 1980s themed party for adults on Saturday 19th November. Thank you.

LUNCHTIMES IPSWICH TOWN TICKETS We have ‘cut-price’ tickets available for the following home fixtures which all have a 3 o’ clock kick-off: READING – Sat 26th November DERBY COUNTY – Sat 17th December If you’d like further details, or a booking form, please speak to Mr Pearce. Parents do not have to attend with their children, so this could be an ideal opportunity to get some shopping done!

REMEMBRANCE DAY Poppies are now available from the School Office for a small donation. The whole school will be taking part in two minutes silence on Friday11th November and some children will be laying crosses at the war memorial near the church.

It has got to that time of year when the school field is too wet for use at lunch and play times. Like last year, any child in Year 3 or above who wishes to use the field during lunch time can do so if they have a change of clothing and footwear. Please ensure that this is not their PE kit

BONFIRE NIGHT SPECIAL MENU A reminder that the menu on Friday 4th November is… Hot Dog or Catherine Wheel Pizza, Sauté Potatoes and Baked Beans/Sweetcorn/Peas Toffee Apple Sponge & Ice Cream

DIARY DATES AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS Netball and Football Clubs, held after school on a Tuesday, will continue until 15th November. After this, it will be too dark to carry on.
