A tailored Butler service

To ensure your time with us is perfect, a Butler service is provided for guests travelling in some Suites*. Attentive and discreet, your Butler will be your main point of contact, providing personalised daily service and meeting all your desires efficiently and unobtrusively. A tailored cruise where you can enjoy total peace of mind.

Wi-Fi included

To meet all of your expectations, PONANT implements a new policy regarding Wi-Fi on board. From 1st January 2019, all our guests enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi access aboard all of our ships.

The French ‘art de la table’ (the art of eating)

Our Chefs and their galley team interpret and share with our guests their passion for French culinary heritage, enriched by products and traditions from the countries visited. Fresh products and carefully selected ingredients, mature cheeses and a superb list of grand cru wines… all this combines to make each meal a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.

Gastronomic restaurant and grill restaurant

Our ships offer two different dining concepts according to your desires. In the gastronomic restaurant, à la carte meals are served to your table. For lunch, choose from a selection of dishes inspired by contemporary French brasserie cuisine. For dinner, you will be served refined cuisine in the finest French gastronomic tradition. In the restaurant grill, the atmosphere is more relaxed with a buffet option. From breakfast until dinner, indulge your taste buds with the healthy, delicious and refined buffets prepared by the team in the galley.

The advice and expertise of Ducasse Conseil

In January 2016, PONANT announced it had joined forces with Ducasse Conseil, a catering centre of excellence run by Alain Ducasse Entreprise, continuing its route to excellence aboard our ships. From the conception of the culinary offering to the training of the company’s Chefs, this long-term project aims to ensure that PONANT’s culinary standards are as high as possible and to satisfy the exacting requirements of our guests.

Open Bar

From the moment you board and throughout your cruise, your unlimited drinks are included, at any time of the day. A drink with friends at the bar, refreshments on your return from an excursion or in the calm of your Stateroom’s balcony: enjoy a large selection of beverages (mineral waters, cold drinks, wines, beer, champagne, spirits, coffee, tea). A selection of premium alcoholic drinks is also available "à la carte".

Aboard, different areas and lounges will enable you to find a moment of peace and quiet or to meet up with friends and share convivial moments: • the main lounge, an ideal place to meet over a drink and watch daytime or evening events. • the panoramic lounge, an intimate piano-bar with a vast panorama to the horizon. Perfect for reading or for listening to our selection of classical music. • the outdoor bar with access to the pool and the solarium.

Make the very most of your free time

Sitting comfortably in the theatre, attend talks by lecturers and guides as well as the various shows, concerts and performances held on board. In the library, a choice of books and board games, as well as computers with Wi-Fi, is available for you. In your Stateroom, use our Video on Demand service to access quality French and international films. A photography and videography team escort you throughout your trip. These professionals capture the most beautiful moments of your cruise, which you can share with family and friends upon your return. Meet them on DECK 5 (DECK 6 on the PONANT EXPLORERS ships) at the photo/video area, where you can also order souvenir pictures and videos. The shop, open during sailing hours, offers a refined selection of clothing, jewellery and accessories. Gift articles, prêt-à-porter clothes, souvenirs of your trip, technical accessories or quite simply impulse buys: make the most of a high-quality range at tax-free prices.

Your tailored voyage, created for tranquillity

So that your cruise is truly a personalised voyage, PONANT proposes a whole range of services that will facilitate your organisation and complete the discovery of the countries visited, to suit your desires.

Flights and transfers

Scheduled flights, as well as the transfers corresponding to your cruise, are proposed by PONANT. In addition, for certain destinations less accessible by scheduled flights, PONANT can charter flights for guests, enabling a more direct or advantageous connection, while ensuring you enjoy a high-quality service. PONANT can also organise your transfers before/after your cruise between airport and embarkation/disembarkation port (private bespoke transfers are also possible). Land-based programmes

During your cruise: A large choice of excursions are offered during all of our cruises (except the Expeditions when inclusive excursions are organised by the Expedition team). Chosen for the interest of the cities, monuments or natural sites visited, these excursions are accessible via booking 2 months before your departure.

Before or after your cruise: Before the departure or on the arrival of your cruise, various programmes and stays are always available. These can also be organised at your request, made to measure. Paris, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Great Pyramids in Egypt… there are many marvellous sites that may make you want to stay a little longer. Our PONANT teams take care of everything, extending your voyage and relieving you of all the organisation, even once your cruise has ended.

Insurance

The PONANT Insurance Contracts offer more extensive guarantees than those you already have or believe you have. It is perfectly adapted to the characteristics of your trip: cruise cancellation insurance; missed departure / missed return; medical assistance and repatriation; luggage insurance; interruption of stay; replacement trip; civil liability; travel accident.
