JRCC Travels to the Birthplace of Golf!
St. Andrew's, Scotland Golf Trip
July 28- August 3, 2024
The James River Golf Operations team is excited to announce that we will be hosting our members on a golf experience at the Birthplace of Golf in St. Andrew's, Scotland! The trip will be held from July 28th to August 3rd, 2024, and will be led by your Head Golf Professional, Ryan Smith.
We have partnered with All Access GTE to help build this trip and assist with the registration process. Availability will be limited and spots will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Hello from your camp director!
Dear Camp Families,
Hi, my name is Megan Johnson, and this will be my first summer with KE Camps as the director at James River Day Camp. I am so excited to share this amazing experience with you!
This fall will be my last year studying biology at Christopher Newport University. This means I LOVE all things to do with animals and being outside. Summertime is the best time to take advantage of being able to participate in many outdoor activities, that is what makes camp the best place to be!
Although I have not had many camp experiences, I have had the pleasure of helping to take care of my three nephews and two nieces over the past 11 years. Watching them grow up and teaching them new things has been an amazing journey.
I am excited about all the activities we have in store for camp! We will be learning new sports like golf and tennis and of course, I love being in the water, so pool time will be a blast! When you couple those activities with arts and crafts, fun with food and our themed days, camp will be awesome!
In my free time, I love going to the beach, cooking, and hanging out with my cat, Goose. I cannot wait to meet you all and make amazing memories at camp this summer!
