Perfectly Paired Gallery Experience Giving Hearts Day 2022 Upcoming Events Call for Artists
Just a few months ago, I was thinking “whew, 2021 is almost over, I can’t wait until 2022 so life can get back to normal.” Well, that doesn’t seem to be the case, I guess we have to live with a “new normal.” The Arts Center is ringing in 2022 as normally as we can.
Mindi Schmitz Executive Director
After taking a year off, our Annual Gala is in full swing. The 2022 Gala Committee has many fresh faces and great new ideas. Please plan on attending, “Stepping Out for the Arts,” Friday, February 4 at Newman Arena. This is our largest fundraiser, which mainly supports our Arts After School program. So dust of your fanciest shoes, your platform boots, or even your slippers. It should be a great time with live music by “Out of Line” closing out the evening. As always, you will see in the newsletter that we have a lot going on at The Arts Center. I am very excited about some of the new class offerings and some community members stepping up to teach a few classes. We are able to bring quality programming to our community with so much support from volunteers, members, donations and sponsors. I want to thank you all for your commitment to continuing to “Build Community through the Arts.” The arts can enrich all of us in this nation as individuals. The arts can enrich all of our communities and the country. And the arts can connect us to each other like nothing else can. Author: Michelle Obama Sincerely,
