• Holden Heights is divided into two segments - city And County • Improvement projects end abruptly at the city's boundary
• Over 500 vacant homes and properties throughout the neighborhood • many vacant homes are falling apart • areas with more vacancies tend to have more drug and crime related issues
• displacement occurred during the implementation of the highway systems • There are current issues of gentrification happening in the parramore neighborhood • The possibility of gentrification to occur in the holden heights neighborhood is high
