EXPLORE

BEFORE

An explorium or children’s discovery centre is rooted in the concept that free play is a valuable contributor to solving some of the child’s most critical challenges in their physical, mental and social development. These spaces can help improve early learning skills, imagination, independence, and health outcomes for children, while also providing avenue to build strong interpersonal relationships. Innovative, high quality play spaces can increase the quality of child care and early childhood education, closing the achievement gap and increasing children’s readiness to learn in school.

E XPLODED

To design an exclusive space for children of all age groups that encourages learning through play fostering their Overall physical, mental, behavioural and social development. In addition to the primary concern of overall child development, students are encouraged to scale the spaces for Children where adults don't quite belong, don't quite fit in. Imagine that children are the natural inhabitants while the adults are the outsiders. Most exhibits and activities in the museum need to be designed exclusively for them.

To design a corporate guest house for the artists & their family who visit & attend shows in shilpa kala vedika , require to create hospitality for them like a lavish holiday space with all major amenities ,hotel , gym & high level entertainment spaces. Artists visists with different mind set & with different family members. Required 25 bedroms & 4 suites in different sizes with different concepts. The first aspect to design in such way it would capture all the activities runs in shilparamam & shilpakala vedika. Need connectivity between the blocks & avoid bifurcation for the existing activities.

Massing the block as per the occupancy of existing terrian &vegitation , creating void in central space to maintain visual connections between adjacent sides of block. Placing of hanging suite with a transperent water body at the top surface level to create dynamic light movement in the suite &suite acts as a shading plane below the surface with different angles.

“SIMPLESPACES WERECREATEDTOGIVEFEELINGOF COMFORTAND WARMTHRATHERTHANBEINGINTIMIDATING“ The way between the travelling from service gate to shilparamam functional hall ,space of land besides the roadway & between the road and trident hotel is fully turns into a dark & dead space from the shade of trident hotel. Creating a activity named as entertainment in the dark & dead space by designing a active & low illuminated required entertainment activities with other indoor games on existing natural stone.
