The Taylor Family Foundation (TTFF) continues its commitment to providing financial and emotional support for children and families in the community who are in critical need. Because of you we will continue to: • Create therapeutic experiences and support through camp
• Provide children with clothing and basic necessities
• Provide medical devices and equipment often needed but not covered by insurance
• Assist families with life essentials such as food and gas when their child is in the hospital • Assist families with funeral expenses Join us to celebrate 27 years of giving at our annual Day in the Park fundraiser Sunday, August 27th at Camp Arroyo in Livermore. Proceeds from the event will allow TTFF to continue its Mission to preserve the wellness and enhance the quality of life for children in Northern California living with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities, and youth at-risk through unique therapeutic experiences and support.
#MusicChangesEverything Sophie’s Place, TTFF’s mobile music therapy program, in partnership with the Forever Young Foundation and Wells Fargo brings music to children who are homebound or patients in Northern California hospitals and hospice homes. Currently, Sophie’s Place has expanded to four local hospitals from Santa Clara to Sacramento. Music therapy boasts many measurable results, including increased cognitive function, emotional support, relaxation and end of life support.
With your continued donations and support, each child is able to: • Build connections by creating long lasting friendships through camp activities • Express creativity and emotions through music therapy
• Break barriers by challenging themselves and other campers in activities such as the ropes course • Find support year round and feel connected even when they’re in the hospital
“Camp me ans so much to me. It provided a group of people who de al with the e xact dise ase I de al with. It gi ve s me a support system and le ts me know that I’m not alone.” -Camper, 15
