This year’s Day in the Park heated up in a bidding frenzy with guests raising their paddles high to help raise money to send children with chronic & life threatening illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at-risk to camp at no cost to their families.
Thanks to ALL OF YOU, our campers’ dreams continue to come true!
The Gift Center Guests perused and bid on more than 240 Gift Center packages such as premium bottles of wine, weekend getaways, one-of-a-kind gift baskets, outdoor adventures and more! Emcees Narsai David, Sue Hall, Jim Hampton, Cheryl Jennings, Doug McConnell, and Mike Nicco helped promote the most sought after packages. Thank you to the local businesses who generously donated items for our Gift Center!
The most popular packages were items from the Camper Wishlist. Guests had the opportunity to purchase important camp items to keep the fun going all summer long. More than $10,000 was raised to help fund pool supplies, an all terrain wheelchair, the Urgent Needs Fund and much more!
Epicurean Ensemble Vintners, brewmasters, bakers, and chefs provided our 1,000 guests with delectable delights throughout the gift center. Thank you to all the Epicurean Ensemble guests who made the day so delicious.
This ye ar we welcomed a fe w ne w epicure an ensemble guests, including Handles, Bon Vi vant, Gianni's, Chef Chacon, Danville Baker y, Arbios Cellars, Byington Winer y, Schweiger Vineyards and welcomed back some long-time favorites, like Altamont Beer Works, Eight Bridges Bre wing Company, Patxi's Pizza, The Last Word, Uncle Yu's at the Vineyard, McGrall Vineyards & Winer y, and Nero Cellars. We hope to see you all again next ye ar.
Send a Kid to Camp Shana Morrison delighted guests with a rendition of Journey's Don't Stop Believing and was joined by a flash mob of campers to kick-off this year's Send a Kid to Camp campaign. They helped raise over $550,000!
More than 250 guests participated in this portion of the auction with donations from $100 to $100,000.

Thanks to you, we raised $551,000 during Send a Kid to Camp!
Live Auction Highlights of the day included our Super Bowl 50 package, which raised $40,000! Guests donated $18,000 to see Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden, and t wo guests will be hobnobbing with Hollywood's A-List during Elton John's Academy Awards Party, a package that sold t wice and raised $30,000 to send more kids to camp.
Congratulations to long time supporters Phil & Terry Santoro who won the 2015 Subaru XV CrossTrek. The photo on the left was taken when we purchased our tickets. Terry (my wife) said, “Hey let’s take a picture of you purchasing the winning ticket from these awesome volunteers, a mom and her son…." The little guy got a kick out it when I thanked him for the winning ticket. -Phil Santoro
With the over whelming support of volunteers, donors, Epicurean Ensemble, guests and the community, we raised over $1,100,000 for the children and families we serve.
Judy Collins and Lacy J. Dalton Day in the Park ended on a high note! Guests were on their feet and thrilled by the special performances by Judy Collins and Lacy J. Dalton.
Camper Party
Our campers enjoyed Day in the Park as well, filling the day with cotton candy, balloon animals, ice cream, sno cones, pom poms, and photo booth fun!
Volunteers As always, the day would not be possible without the help from our 480 volunteers. We greatly appreciate your support of TTFF and the time you give to ensure Day in the Park is a success!
