OCTOBER DCM RECAP Our October Divisional Meeting, we had a few ice breakers, food and important information about Fall Rally. Everyone had a great time and we had Trick or Treat for Unicef boxes set all over the tables at our DCM.

BOUND TO SERVE WHAT IS BOUND TO SERVE? Bound to Serve is a district-wide children's book drive created to support both Live2Learn and the Pediatric Trauma Program, or PTP. From November 1st-20th, the CNH KIWIN'S District will be collecting new books for hospitalized children, ages 0-18. Then, these books will be donated to Kiwanis partnered hospitals all over California.By participating in this event, members can improve literacy skills among young children, provide comfort for those in hospitals, and earn service hours.The lucky club and division with the most books donated per member by November 20th will receive our Bound to Serve prize at Fall Rally South!

SPIRIT NIGHT
One of our upcoming events, will be spirit night. A night where all four schools gather and
practice our
divisonal cheers and make spirit gear for one of biggest district events of the year, Fall Rally. Make sure to attend and meet new students from different schools from all over Bakersfield!

FALL RALLY WHAT IS FALL RALLY? Fall Rally is the CNH KIWIN'S District's biggest fundraiser for our Minor Emphasis, Pediatric Trauma Program, or PTP. It's a day compiled of exciting spirit battles, icebreakers, special speakers, recognition, and more. To continue, the CNH KIWIN'S Ohana gets together to bond through our true CNH KIWIN'S spirit and support children all over the world through PTP.
Fall Rally South includes 7 CNH KIWIN'S Divisions: Crystal, Diamond, Emerald, Goldstone, Jet, Ruby, & Turquoise coming together for this special event at William Peak Park and afterwards going to Knott's Berry Farm!

MERCHANDISE Hey Orcas! Ruby merchandise will be sold at DCMs we still have pop sockets and pins. All proceeds will go to our divisional events like DCON, local awake-a-thon and our end of the year banquet! We also have District bear with phanny pack stickers that will be sold at DCMs as well. Please take advantage of our hot deals!
