In 1966, his ship breaking company got its big break when it was called in to dismantle the Ping An, a cargo ship that had run aground off Ter Heijde. We still receive complaints about the noise levels we produce. In order to proactively engage with local residents, we organised a residents' evening at our site in Vlaardingen. On top of that, we monitor all complaints and ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.
