Moving-Up Ceremony
Form One students often feel nervous on their first day in secondary school. Despite the Bridging Course that we prepare for them during the summer break, some of them still feel anxious especially knowing that it will be the first time that they will be seeing other forms. Our caring Guidance Team has put together a special event to make the Form 1 students feel more at home. The Moving-Up Ceremony served as a warm welcome to our new students.
In the event, they were first given recognition for their hard work in primary school. Then, Principal Kwok gave a speech to formally welcome the freshmen students to the next phase of their studies. Broadcast on Facebook Live for their parents to see, the students had a sense of pride and belongingness after the ceremony. They walked in the hall nervous but walked out feeling confident and ready to face the challenges of secondary school.
