CONNECTIVE CORRIDOR

Our team is to design our own version of a billboard that will in a whole represent syracuse and the connective corridor. This could include things such as important buildings in syracuse, to public art, to community engagement.

The billboard is located in downtown syracuse by the warehouse on a busy street. Many cars pass by this area because its the entrance to the highway. Every month there will be a new focus keeping things interesting. People who drive that route often will continuously be shown new things. As the months go on people will be interested in seeing what will be featured next.

The pictures that will be on the board will be photographs taken by people within the Syracuse area, visitor or resident. An open competition will be held every month by the connective corridor via a blog and other social networks. A hashtag will be used on Instagram to allow the people of syracuse to submit their images. The people will be allowed to like a retweet these pictures. The picture with the most likes will get their picture put up on the billboard along with connective corridor branding, syracuse branding, hashtag, and potentially the name of the Instagram user that won.

People interested in competing will find the rules on the blog along with pictures from Instagram that are currently popular. The pictures will be Syracuse based and be a good representation of what the connective corridor stands for by capturing the beauty that Syracuse holds.
