Many college students are not satisfied with the bus system and the inconvenient bus schedules. Also, college students feel unsafe when walking back from bus stops at night.
Safety is first! All students should feel safe especially in a school environment. Prioritizing safety first helps students feel calm and at ease.
Observations We observed that many people use their phones while waiting for the bus and while on the bus. Phones can be a primary tool to solve the problem of safety, conveniency, and privacy.

How can we use phones as a solution?

Second Interviews questions about: interactions with the others

safety concerns
I don't normally start conversations
Safety is a concern
I usually just read in the bus
Tell us about your interactions with other people while using the bus… How do you start a conversation with the others there? How do you feel about the ones that suddenly start a conversation with you? Imagine a bus system that has 3 times more vehicles, but has no schedule. How do you feel about it? For example, you just know that it’ll arrive every 3-7 minutes. But no exact time. Don’t you prefer it? Do you have any safety concerns while waiting or on the bus? Examples? What do you do to deal with this concern?
