THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE There were several challenges plaguing the Sales, Marketing, Product & Operations teams impacting their ability to identify, conceive and sell various non-standard configuration options for several platforms showcasing their value effectively to clients contributing to direct loss of revenue on orders and upgrades (opportunity size $2B!). The following summarizes the various aspects leading to the challenge(s)

Inability to easily view all the previously configured systems mapped to their internal identification codes. Inability to take an existing platform and configure non-standard options as well as upgrades to existing components. Inability to showcase the config changes/upgrades and calculate options delta for clients to view. Inability to view a multi-dimensional view with drilldown capability across all their historical sales of chambers and clients. Inability to actively manage a comprehensive product library which can showcase all their platforms, systems, components and accessories in a multi-dimensional view.

SOLUTION/STRATEGY/APPROACH The strategy was to build a unified digital platform to create: Modular component based model which can interoperate with other modules on the platform creating a seamless user experience. A multi-dimensional data analytics platform to better understand customers and their needs globally. A visual platform builder to add/modify/remove components while being compliant with a rules engine which keeps the models under check. A complete digital product catalog which allows users to explore and compare various components and options on platforms
