From Our House to Yours! Gift giving can be quite a puzzle. Clothing gifts could end up being the wrong Count on JAS-eTea for the size, color, and style. That knickknack could be a duplicate of something the perfect gift for your person already has, not fit in with their style, or whatever. And nothing can be perfectly special holiday! more averse to a perfectly special holiday than a gift that doesn’t live up to expectations. Being parents and grandparents, we know this well. So, we’ve collected together the best pairings of tea, teaware, and gift ideas. It’s all part of our special enjoyment of the season, something that has endured through the years. Our move from the nation’s capitol to the mountains of western North Carolina has made this season even more special. Our first winter here was a snowy one and that, of course, meant a snowman on our front lawn, even though the snow wasn’t quite deep enough. Since then, we have also seen a grandson graduate from high school, a new grandchild born, and our tea business grow right along with them, thanks to your kind patronage. We look forward to being a part of your holidays through our fine teas and teawares, and wish you all a season steeped in joy! Janice and Stephen Shelton
Janice Shelton (seated, far left), Stephen Shelton (kneeling, far right), and some of their kids and grandkids!
On the Cover: Just a few of the great teas and teawares that could be waiting for your loved one, friend, or co-worker inside that lovely, wrapped package!

Chais* “Chai” is a word in India that means “tea.” Here in the U.S. and elsewhere we use it to mean a spiced tea. There are literally hundreds of versions, but we think these four offer something special, and we think you’ll agree. Asian Chai
$5.50 / 3.5oz
An Indian favorite with anise seed and mandarin orange peel. A wonderful licorice-like aroma tempered with orange, smells strong in the package but doesn’t overwhelm in the cup. Anise (said to be good for helping coughs and aiding digestion) can dominate a lot of the blends in which it is used but tends to be very balanced in this one. The liquid has a lighter anise flavor, pleasant, smooth, not bitter. (100% Organic)

Adding milk is not recommended.
