Concept: Borders emphasize structure and order, creating the political environment in which MAP exists. These borders are red creating a loud call for attention as do political agendas. The bubble is a break from this structure and is essential in portraying MAP’s affect - a new character that hasn’t yet fully taken over but makes it’s presence heard. The bubble is consistently MAP’s “voice” transgressing. In the last page - “What’s Next” - the colors are reversed, the bubble is now red. This shows reworking, shifting, innovating and most importantly the blue (MAP) has expanded across the entire page.
