layout and graphic design for UVa’s student newspaper Since joining staff in the Fall of 2013, I have been heavily involved in the visual design of The Cavalier Daily. During the past 3 years, I have designed over 30 covers and created numerous information graphics as well. Today, I act as operations manager for the publication, where I oversee all visual design operations for the print publication, website, and mobile app. I have had over 8 years of experience in designing layouts for publications. I currently lead the rebrand and redesign project for the newspaper in both online and print. We are expected to launch our new brand beginning August 2016. 2013-Curent

During my internship at the national office of the American Insitute of Architects, I designed stickers and buttons for the Center for Emerging Professional to hand out at the AIAS National Conference. I also had the opportunity to design materials for the Know your worth. campaign that was dedicated to informing all generations of architects about the value Emerging Professionals bring to the field and the importance of getting paid for internship hours. In addition to having experience in merchandise design, I also have done graphic design work for presentations and web content for AIA. Summer Internship 2015

communications, media, and merchandise design As Under-secretary General of Media and Design, I produced written and graphic content in communciation platforms including print brochures, social media, e-newsletters, and the website for the Virgina Model United Nations Conference XXXIV. I also designed merchandise sold and given at the conference, which successfully hosted over 900 high school students and 200 sponsors from across the nation. Our Facebook page reached a peak of over 24,000 organic views, an averager of 60 likes per post, and increase net followers by over 450 people post-conference. Fall 2013- Fall 2014

virginia architecture magazine logo design and website design I am the founder of a student publication at the UVa Architecture School that showcases an array of student projects to communities within and beyond the sphere of architecture. As editor-in-chief, I led the design of the brand and tone of the magazine by designing the logo and pages of the website.
