SPRING/ SUMMER 2018
1
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the epoch of belief,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of dispair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way-in short, the period was so far like the present, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being recieved, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
- Charles Dickens, 1859

Spring/ Summer 2018 wil bring a revolution of liberation and experimentation; rebellious youth and audacious women. There are no rules or limits, merely playful, unexpected interactions allowing us to express our freedom through creativity. Embrace your inner “Love Child”, and live in the now. Back to the future, the 60’s revolutioin rears its head, unleashing its nostalgia. Imagine a hot “Summer In The City”. There will be beautiful days followed by sunsets as the “Bad Moon Rises”. Music will be your dictator, pulling you into a “Space Oddity”. Remember not to panic when the world around you has a “Psychotic Reaction”, it’s only a decoy leading to a love attraction.
“You say you want a revolution well, you know we all want to change the world”.

The sixties are most generously described as a time when people took part- when they stepped out of themselves and acted in public, as people who didn’t know what would happen next, but who were sure that acts of true risk and fear would produce something different from what they had been raised to take for granted -Greil Marcus
