Trans Agustino Express Siempre que se escribe de una producción plástica hay peligro de realizar una teorización abrumadora, pero este no será el caso, por lo menos ahora. Si el público conoce su ciudad podrá entender lo que Alberto nos entrega en cada uno se sus cuadros o al menos intuir lo que nos quiere decir. Dar un paseo por Lima y su periferia es sentir su velocidad, su ingenuidad y su desfachatez para ir poblándose de un imaginario surrealista. Es casi seguro que si esperamos demasiado tiempo en una esquina corremos el riesgo de ser empapelados por cuanto espectáculo se publicite en afiches de colores estridentes, de ser asaltados físicamente por un mar de gente que te cierra el paso, o por ruidos, olores y sabores que solo ella posee. La idea del Trans Agustino Express, aunque ilusoria, nos asegura un viaje por la periferia de Lima, por los arenales, los barrios populares y populosos, si viajáramos pegados a la ventana seriamos testigos de paredes agrisadas por el paso de los días, por el esmog y el polvo, la basura, por gente comiendo con sibarita, agachadita y feliz. Lo curioso es que el Trans Agustino sigue su marcha y llega al centro de la ciudad y parece difícil saber si en algún punto nos salimos de la ruta, ya que seguimos encontrando lo mismo, dentro de todo. El Trans Agustino Express es irreal, pero lo que veríamos si allí estuviera, es real y eso pretende Alberto, plasmar a como de lugar las imágenes que él y todos nosotros tenemos como frecuentes. Esa Lima que según se entiende fue invadida en su periferia y esta a su vez devuelve la invasión. Iván Huerto.
Trans Agustino Express When a plastic production is written, always, there is a hazard to make an exhausted theorization, but this is not the case. If people know their city, they could understand what Alberto wants to show in each of his pictures or at least, they can guess what he wants to say. Going through Lima and its periphery, you can feel its speed, its ingenuousness, and its audacity to get the sense of a surrealistic image. If we spend too much time at the corner of a street, for sure, we will take the risk to be overwhelmed with every publicized show in posters with strident colors, to be physically astonished by a sea of people who close your way, or by the noises, smells, and flavors that Lima posses. The idea of the Trans Agustino Express, although illusory, it is a trip to the periphery of Lima, to the sandy deserts, to the popular and crowded neighborhoods. If we take a trip next to a bus window, we will be witnesses of gray walls due to the smog and dust, the trash, by people eating with sibarita, bent and happy. What is curious is that the Trans Agustino continues with its route until it reaches the downtown, and looks difficult to realize if at one point we lose the route, since we continue finding the same in everything. The Trans Agustino Express is unreal, but what we could see if this exist, it is real. That is what Alberto tries to catch, without doubting, the images that not only him but everyone have everyday. That Lima, as it is understood, was invaded at its periphery, and at the same time that Lima returns the invasion. Ivรกn Huerto.
