The researchers take tongue coating and saliva samples for the purpose of this study. They took these samples to research on the amount of bacteria in the participant’s mouth . They also measured the level of hydrogen sulfide inside the mouth.
After 6 weeks , researches collect the sample again from each participants. Their finding was astonishing! The amount of hydrogen sulfide inside participant’s mouth had decrease for about 80 % . It is not all ; they also find out that the formation of plaque is lower for this participants . Occurrance of gingivitis is also much lower among this group.
These experiment is still in its infancy state , but as the researches said that yogurt should be make a must diet for bad breath patients out there. It has been proven to decrease the occurance of bad breath in control participants. Yogurt also have other medical benefits such as prevention of osteoporosis , reduce the potential to get high blood pressure and avoid vaginal infection.
