Dua Mashlool This du-a'a known as "supplication of the youth stricken for his sin," is quoted from the work of Kaf-ami and from Muhaj al Da-wat by Sayyid ibn tawus. Through Imam Hussain (asws) it is reported that one day He and His Father, after performing Hajj, caught sight of a paralysed young man crying his eyes out in repentance. They went near to console him and find out the reason of his sorry plight. He was a habitual sinner, always teased his father, disobeyed him and treated him with contempt. One day, disgusted, the father invoked curse upon him. So he was affected with paralysis. Then and there Imam Ali (asws) ibn abi Talib(as) wrote his dua'a and gave it to him with instruction to recite after Isha salat. Next day fully cured, he came to Imam Ali (asws) and said that he had recited the dua'a as told and went to sleep. He saw the Holy Prophet (saw) in the dream. RasoolAllah (saw), gently touched his body with His hand and asked him to remember this dua'a as it contain ismi azam (the great name of Allah).
Recite this dua'a after Isha salat. It brings countless blessings. All your legitimate desires will be fulfilled. It drives away poverty and sickness. Sins are for given. Debts are cleared. Enemies become friends. Domestic affairs are set aright. Disputes are settled in your favour. Prisoners are set free mental worries disappear. Prosperity, sound mind and healthy body stand by you at all times.Mercy and forgiveness of sins are the main advantages the almighty Allah makes available if this dua'a is recited regularly.

alla-hoomma inni as'aloka, belsmeka
َﺍَﻟﻠّـ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ ِﺇﻧّﻲ ﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ِﺑﺎﺳ ِْﻤﻚ
bismilla hir rahma nir rahim.
ﺣﻴﻢ ﻤﻦ ﱠ ﺑِﺴ ِْﻢ ﷲِ ﱠ ِ ﺍﻟﺮ ِ ﺍﻟﺮ ْﺣ
O Lord of Majesty and Generosity;
ya zal jalale wal ikrame.
ﻛﺮ ِﺍﻡ َ ﺍﻹ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ َﺠﻼ ِﻝ َﻭ
O Living; O Self-Subsisting,
ya hayyo. ya qayyoomo
ﻳﺎ َﺣ ﱡﻲ ﻳﺎ ﻗَﻴﱡﻮ ُﻡ
O Ever-living, there is no God but You. O You that are "He" of whom no one knows what "He" is, nor how "He" is,
ya hayyo laa 1iiaha ilia anta
، َﻳﺎ َﺣ ﱡﻲ ﻻ ﺇِﻟ ٰـﻪَ ﺇِﻻّ ﺃَ ْﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ُﻫ َﻮ
ya howa. ya man la ya’a.lamo ma howa.
ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﻳَ ْﻌﻠَ ُﻢ ﻣﺎ ُﻫ َﻮ ﻒ ُﻫ َﻮ َ َﻭﻻ َﻛ ْﻴ
wa la kaifa howa.
nor where "He" is, except "He."
wa la aina howa wa la haitho howa ilia howa.
ُ َﻭﻻ ﺃَ ْﻳ َﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ َﻭﻻ َﺣ ْﻴ ،ﺚ ُﻫ َﻮ ﺇِﻻّ ُﻫ َﻮ
O Lord of the Great Kingdom and Supremacy.
ya zal-moolke wal-malakoote
ﺕ ِ ﻜﻮ ُ َﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ﺍﻟ ُﻤ ْﻠ ِﻚ َﻭ ْﺍﻟ َﻤﻠ
O Lord of Honour and Omnipotence:
ya zal izzate wal-jabaroote,
،ِﺮﻭﺕ ُ َﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ ِﻌ ﱠﺰ ِﺓ َﻭ ْﺍﻟ َﺠﺒ
O Sovereign Lord, O Holy One!
ya maleko. ya qooddooso
،ﻭﺱ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ِﻠ ُﻚ ﻳﺎ ﻗُﺪﱡ
O Peace; O Keeper of Faith;
ya salamo. ya mo'meno,
ﺳﻼ ُﻡ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺆ ِﻣ ُﻦ َ ﻳﺎ
O Guardian O Revered One;
ya mohaimeno, ya ' azizo,
ُ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ َﻬ ْﻴ ِﻤ ُﻦ ﻳﺎ ﻋ َﺰﻳﺰ
ya jabbaro ya motakabbero,
ّﺎﺭ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺘَ َﻜﺒّـِ ُﺮ ُ ﻳﺎ َﺟﺒ
ya khaliqo ya baari'o
ُ ﻳﺎ ﺧﺎ ِﻟ ُﺑﺎﺭﺉ ِ ﻖ ﻳﺎ
O Compeller; O Superb. O Creator, O Maker of all things from nothing;

O Administrator; O Severe (in wrath);
ya modabbiro, ya shadeedo
ُ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺪَﺑّـِ ُﺮ ﻳﺎ ﺷَﺪﻳﺪ
ya mobdio ya mo'eedo
ُﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺒﺪِﺉُ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻌﻴﺪ
ya mobeedo ya wadoodo,
ُﻳﺎ ُﻣﺒﻴﺪُ ﻳﺎ َﻭﺩُﻭﺩ
O Inventor; O Restorer; O Originator; O Most Loving: O Praised; O Adored.
ya mahmoodo ya ma'boodo,
ُْﺒﻮﺩ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﺤ ُﻤﻮﺩُ ﻳﺎ َﻣﻌ
O You that are distant yet near;
ya ba'eedo ya qaareebo
ﺮﻳﺐ ُ ﻳﺎ ﺑَﻌﻴﺪُ ﻳﺎ َﻗ
O Answerer of prayer; O Observer;
ya mojeebo ya raqeebo
ﻗﻴﺐ ُ ﺠﻴﺐ ﻳﺎ ِﺭ ُ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ
O Reckoner. O Innovator;
ya haseebo ya badeeo
ﺴﻴﺐ ﻳﺎ ﺑَﺪﻳ ُﻊ ُ ﻳﺎ َﺣ
O Exalted; O Unassailable;
ya rafeeo ya manee'o
ﻳﺎ َﺭﻓﻴ ُﻊ ﻳﺎ َﻣﻨﻴ ُﻊ
O Hearer. O Knower;
ya sameeo ya aleemo,
ﺳﻤﻴ ُﻊ ﻳﺎ ﻋَﻠﻴ ُﻢ َ ﻳﺎ
O Forbearing; O Bountiful;
ya haleemo, ya kareemo,
ﻳﺎ َﺣﻠﻴ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ ﻛَﺮﻳ ُﻢ
O Wise; O Eternal;
ya hakeemo, ya qadeemo,
ﻳﺎ َﺣﻜﻴ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ ﻗَﺪﻳ ُﻢ
O Lofty; O Great.
ya alio ya azimo,
ﻋ ِﻠ ﱡﻲ ﻳﺎ ﻋَﻈﻴ ُﻢ َ ﻳﺎ
O most Compassionate; O Giver of all good;
ya hannano ya mannano,
ُ ّﻳﺎ َﺣﻨ ﺎﻥ ﻳﺎ َﻣﻨّﺎ ُﻥ
O most perfect Requiter of good and evil; O You whose help is sought for

O Giver of guidance; O Commencer;
ya hadee ya badee

O First; O Last;
ya awwalo ya akhiro

O Evident; O Hidden.
ya zahiro, wa batino,
ﺑﺎﻁ ُﻦ ِ ﻳﺎ ﻅﺎ ِﻫ ُﺮ ﻳﺎ
O Established; O Everlasting;
ya qa'em-o, ya daa'emo,
ﻳﺎ ﻗﺎ ِﺋ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ ﺩﺍ ِﺋ ُﻢ
O Knowing; O Ruler;
ya ' alimo, ya hakimo, ,
ﻳﺎ ﻋﺎ ِﻟ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ ﺣﺎ ِﻛ ُﻢ
O Dispenser of justice; O Equitable;
ya qazio, ya ' adilo,
ﻳﺎ ﻗﺎﺿﻲ ﻳﺎ ﻋﺎ ِﺩ ُﻝ
O You that disjoins and unites
ya fasilo, ya wasilo,
ﻭﺍﺻ ُﻞ ِ ﻓﺎﺻ ُﻞ ﻳﺎ ِ ﻳﺎ
; O Pure; O Purifier;
ya tahiro, ya motah-hero,
ﻳﺎ ﻁﺎ ِﻫ ُﺮ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ َﻄ ّﻬـِ ُﺮ
O Powerful; O Almighty;
ya qadiro, ya moqtadiro,
ﻳﺎ ﻗﺎﺩ ُِﺭ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻘﺘَﺪ ُِﺭ
O Great; O Magnificent.
ya kabeero, ya motakabbiro,
َﺒﻴﺮ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺘَ َﻜﺒّـِ ُﺮ ُ ﻳﺎ ﻛ
O One; O Matchless; O Eternal and Absolute;
ya wahido, ya ahado, ya samado,
ُ ﺻ َﻤﺪ َ ﻭﺍﺣﺪُ ﻳﺎ ﺃَ َﺣﺪُ ﻳﺎ ِ ﻳﺎ
O You that begets not, nor is He begotten;
ya man lam walid wa lam yoolad
ْﻳﻮﻟَﺪ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻟَ ْﻢ ﻳَ ِﻠ ْﺪ َﻭﻟَ ْﻢ
nor is there equal to You anyone
ya lam ya -kool -lahoo kofo-an ahad,
ٌَﻭﻟَ ْﻢ ﻳَ ُﻜ ْﻦ ﻟَﻪُ ُﻛﻔُﻮﺍً ﺃَ َﺣﺪ

nor have You any spouse;
ya lam yakool-lahoo sahebaton
َُﻭﻟَ ْﻢ ﻳَ ُﻜ ْﻦ ﻟَﻪ ﺻﺎﺣﺒَﺔ ِ
nor any bearer of Your burden;
wa la kana ma'ahoo waziroon,
َ َﻭﻻ ،ﺯﻳﺮ ٌ ﻛﺎﻥ َﻣﻌَﻪُ َﻭ
nor any consultant to give You advice;
wa lattakhaza ma'ahoo mosheeran,
،ًَﻭﻻَ ﺍﺗﱠ َﺨﺬَ َﻣ َﻌﻪُ ُﻣﺸﻴﺮﺍ
nor do You need any supporter;
wa lah-taja ila zaheerin,
ْ ََﻭﻻ ﻬﻴﺮ ٍ ﻟﻰ َﻅ ٰ ِﺍﺣﺘﺎ َﺝ ﺇ
nor is there with You any other deity; There is no God but You, and You are far exalted with great excellence above all that which the unjust folk do say concerning You
َ ﻛﺎﻥ َﻣﻌَﻪُ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﺇِﻟ ٰـ ٍﻪ َ َﻭﻻ ،ُﻏ ْﻴ ُﺮﻩ
wa la kana ma'ahoo min illahin ghairohoo,
َﻻ ﺇِﻟ ٰـﻪَ ﺇِﻻّ ﺃَ ْﻧﺖ
la 1iiaha illa anta fata'a-laita, amma yaqooloozzalemoona 'oloowan kabeeran,
ّ ﻋﻤّﺎ َﻳﻘُﻮ ُﻝ ُ ﻮﻥ َ ﺍﻟﻈﺎ ِﻟ ُﻤ ،ًﻋﻠُﻮّ ﺍً ﻛَﺒﻴﺮﺍ َ َﻓَﺘَﻌﺎﻟَ ْﻴﺖ
O High and Lofty;
ya alliyo, ya shamikho,
ﺷﺎﻣ ُﺦ َ ﻳﺎ ِ ﻋ ِﻠ ﱡﻲ ﻳﺎ
O most Glorious; O Opener;
ya bazekho, ya fattaho,
ُ ﻳﺎ ﺑﺎ ِﺫ ُ ﺥ ﻳﺎ ﻓَﺘّﺎ ﺡ
O Diffuser of fragrance; O Tolerant;
ya naffaho, ya moortaho,
ُ ﺡ ﻳﺎ ﻣُﺮْ ﺗﺎ ُ ﻳﺎ ﻧَﻔّﺎ ﺡ
O Reliever; O Helper;
ya mofarrejo, ya nasiro,
ُ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻔَ ّﺮ ﻧﺎﺻ ُﺮ ِ ﺝ ﻳﺎ
ya moontasiro, ya modriko,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻨﺘَ ِﺼ ُﺮ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺪ ِﺭ ُﻙ
O Victorious; O Overtaker;
ya mohliko, ya moon-taqimo,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻬ ِﻠ ُﻚ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻨﺘَ ِﻘ ُﻢ
O Resurrector; O Inheritor;
ya ba'eso, ya wareso,
ُ ﻭﺍﺭ ُ ﻳﺎ ﺑﺎ ِﻋ ﺙ ِ ﺚ ﻳﺎ
O Seeker; O Conquerer;
ya talibo, ya ghalibo,
ﺐ ُ ﺐ ﻳﺎ ﻏﺎ ِﻟ ُ ﻳﺎ ﻁﺎ ِﻟ
O Destroyer; O Avenger;
O You from Whom no fugitive can escape.

O Acceptor of repentance; O Everforgiving;
ya tawwabo, ya awwabo,
O Great Bestower; O Causer of all causes;
ya wahhabo, ya mosab-be-bal asbabe,
O Opener of doors (of relief and salvation); O You that answers howsoever You are invoked.
ya mofattehal abwabe, ya man haitho ma do'eya ajaba,
ﺍﺏ ُ ّﺍﺏ ﻳﺎ ﺃَﻭ ُ ّﻳﺎ ﺗَﻮ ﺏ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻭ ّﻫ َ ﺎﺏ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ َ ِﺴﺒّـ ِ ﺐ ﺍﻷَﺳْﺒﺎ ﺏ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻔَﺘّـِ َﺢ ﺍﻷَ ْﺑﻮﺍ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺣ ْﻴ ،ﺟﺎﺏ َ َﺚ ﻣﺎ ﺩُ ِﻋ َﻲ ﺃ
O Purifier; O Giver of manifold rewards;
ya tahooro, ya shakooro,
ﺷ ُﻜﻮ ُﺭ َ ُﻮﺭ ﻳﺎ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻁﻬ
O Excuser; O Pardoner;
ya ' afoo'o, ya ghafooro,
َ ﻋﻔُﻮﱡ ﻳﺎ ﻮﺭ َ ﻳﺎ ُ ُﻏﻔ
O Light of all lights; O Director of all affairs. O Ever Blissful; O All-Aware; O Protector; O Luminous; O Seer; O Supporter; O Great. O Lone; O Unique; O Everlasting; O Upholder; O Eternal and Absolute. O Sufficer; O Healer; O Fulfiller of promises; O Deliverer of welfare. O Benefactor; O Beautifier;
ya nooral noore, ya modabberal omoore,
ﺍﻷﻣﻮ ِﺭ ﻮﺭ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺪَﺑّـِ َﺮ ُ َ ُﻳﺎ ﻧ ِ ﻮﺭ ﺍﻟﻨﱡ
ya lateefo, ya khabiro,
ﺒﻴﺮ ُ ﻳﺎ ﻟَﻄﻴﻒُ ﻳﺎ َﺧ
ya mojeero, ya moneero,
ﻨﻴﺮ ُ ﺠﻴﺮ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ُ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ
ya baseero, ya naseero, ya kabeero,
َﺒﻴﺮ ُ ﻴﺮ َﻳﺎ ﻛ ُ ﺼﻴﺮ ﻳﺎ َﻅ ِﻬ ُ ﻳﺎ َﺑ
ya witro ya fardo
ُﻳﺎ ِﻭﺗْ ُﺮ ﻳﺎ ﻓَﺮْ ﺩ
ya abado, ya sanado,
ُﺳﻨَﺪ َ ﻳﺎ ﺃَﺑَﺪُ ﻳﺎ ،ُﺻ َﻤﺪ َ ﻳﺎ
ya samado, ya kafee, ya shafee,
ﻳﺎ ﻛﺎﻓﻲ ﻳﺎ ﺷﺎﻓﻲ
ya wafee, ya mo'afee,
ﻳﺎ ﻭﺍﻓﻲ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻌﺎﻓﻲ
ya mohsino, ya mojmilo,

O Bestower of grace; O Grantor of favours; O Gracious; O Peerless.
ya mon'imo, ya mofzelo, ya motakarremo, ya motafarredo,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻨ ِﻌ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻔ ِﻀ ُﻞ ،ُﻳﺎ ُﻣﺘَﻜ َّﺮ ِ ُﻡ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺘَﻔَ ّﺮ ِﺩ
ya man' ala faqahara,
ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻋَﻼ ﻓَﻘَ َﻬ َﺮ
ya man malaka faqadara,
،ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َﻣﻠَﻚَ ﻓَﻘَﺪ ََﺭ
ya man batana, fa-khabara,
،ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺑَ َﻄ َﻦ ﻓَ َﺨﺒَ َﺮ
O You, who being worshipped, rewards
ya man 'obeda fashakara
ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ،ﺸﻜ ََﺮ َ َﻋ ِﺒﺪَ ﻓ
O You that being disobeyed forgives;
ya man 'oseya faghafara
ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ،ﻋ ِﺼ َﻲ ﻓَﻐَﻔَ َﺮ
O You that being Exalted, overwhelmed; O You that being Master of all, have absolute power; O You, who being hidden, are well informed;
O You Whom no thought can fully comprehend;
ya mal la tah-weehil fikaro,
ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﻳَ ْﺤﻮﻳ ِﻪ ْﺍﻟ ِﻔﻜ َُﺮ
nor sight perceive
ya la yod-rikohoo basaroon,
،ﺼ ٌﺮ َ ََﻭﻻ ﻳُ ْﺪ ِﺭ ُﻛﻪُ ﺑ
nor from whom any impression is hidden,
ya la yakhfa ' alaihe atharon,
،ﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ ﺃَﺛَ ٌﺮ َ ﻔﻰ ٰ َﻭﻻ َﻳ ْﺨ
O Nourisher of Mankind; O Ordainer of every destiny.
ﻕ ْﺍﻟﺒَﺸ َِﺮ َ ﺭﺍﺯ ِ ﻳﺎ
ya razeqal bashare, ya moqaddera koollee qadarin,
،ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻘَﺪّ َِﺭ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﻗَﺪ ٍَﺭ
O You of Exalted position;
ya' ali-yalmakane,
ﻜﺎﻥ ِ ﻳﺎ ﻋﺎ ِﻟ َﻲ ْﺍﻟ َﻤ
O You Formidable in Your foundations;
ya shadeedal arkane,
ﻛﺎﻥ ِ ْﻳﺎ ﺷَﺪﻳﺪَ ﺍﻷَﺭ
ya mobad-delaz-zamane,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺒَﺪّ ِ َﻝ ﱠ ﻣﺎﻥ ِ ﺍﻟﺰ
y'a qabelal qoorbane,
ﺑﺎﻥ ِ ْﻳﺎ ﻗﺎ ِﺑ َﻞ ْﺍﻟﻘُﺮ
O Changer of times; O Acceptor of sacrifice;

ya zal-manne, wal-ahsane,
ﺴﺎﻥ ِ ﺍﻹ ْﺣ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ َﻤ ّﻦ ِ َﻭ
O Lord of Honor and Supremacy;
ya zal-izze was-sooltane,
ﻄﺎﻥ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ ِﻌ ﱠﺰ ِﺓ َﻭﺍﻟﺴ ْﱡﻠ
O All Merciful; O most Compassionate;
ya rahimo, ya rahmano,
ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣﻴ ُﻢ ﻳَﺎ َﺭﺣ ْـ ٰﻤ ُﻦ
O You full of favours and benefactions;
O You that has each day a distinctive Glory
ya man howa koolle yowmin fee shanin,
while no aspect of Your Glory is erased by the prominence of another aspect.
ya man la wash-gholohoo shanoon ' an shanin,
Oh Lord of great Glory O You that are present in every place.
َﺄﻥ ٍ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﻳَ ُﻮ ٍﻡ ﻓﻲ ﺷ ْ َﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﻳ ،ﺷﺄ ٍﻥ َ ﺷﺄ ٌﻥ ﻋ َْﻦ َ ُﺸﻐَﻠُﻪ ﻳﺎ ﻋَﻈﻴ َﻢ ﺍﻟ ﱠ ﺄﻥ ِ ﺸ
ya ' azimash-shane, ya man howa be-koolle makanin,
،ﻜﺎﻥ ٍ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ ﺑِ ُﻜ ّﻞ ِ َﻣ
O Hearer of all voices;
ya same'al-aswate,
ْ َﺳﺎﻣ َﻊ ﺍﻷ ﺕ ِ ﺻﻮﺍ ِ ﻳﺎ
O Answerer of prayers;
ya mojeeb-ad-da'wate,
ﺕ ِ ﺠﻴﺐ ﺍﻟﺪﱠﻋَﻮﺍ َ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ
O Giver of success in all requirements;
ya moonjehat- talebate,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻨ ِﺠ َﺢ ﱠ ﺕ ِ ﺍﻟﻄ ِﻠﺒﺎ
O Fulfiller of all needs;
ya qazeyal-hajate,
ﺕ ِ ﻗﺎﺿ َﻲ ْﺍﻟﺤﺎﺟﺎ ِ ﻳﺎ
ya monzelal-barakate,
ﺕ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻨ ِﺰ َﻝ ْﺍﻟﺒَ َﺮﻛﺎ
O You that takes pity on our tears.
ya rahemal 'aberate,
ﺕ ِ ﺭﺍﺣ َﻢ ْﺍﻟﻌَﺒَﺮﺍ ِ ﻳﺎ
O You that raises from the pitfalls;
ya moqeelal-' asarate,
ﺕ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣﻘﻴ َﻞ ْﺍﻟﻌَﺜَﺮﺍ
O You that relieves agonies;
ya kashefal-korobate,
ﺕ ِ ﻒ ْﺍﻟ ُﻜ ُﺮﺑﺎ ِ ﻳﺎ ﻛﺎ َ ﺷ
O You that are the Cherisher of good deeds.
ya-wali-yal hasanate,
ﺕ ِ ﺴﻨﺎ َ ﻳﺎ َﻭ ِﻟ ﱠﻲ ْﺍﻟ َﺤ
O Bestower of blessings;

O You that raises men in rank and degree;
ya rafe'ad-darajate,
ﺕ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺭﺍﻓِ َﻊ ﺍﻟﺪﱠ َﺭﺟﺎ
O You that accedes to requests;
ya mo'ti-yas-so'late,
ﺕ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺆﺗِ َﻲ ﺍﻟﺴ ْﱡﺆﻻ
ya moh-ye-yal amwate,
ﺕ ِ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺤ ِﻴ َﻲ ﺍﻷَﻣْ ﻮﺍ
ya jame'ash-shatate,
ﺟﺎﻣ َﻊ ﺍﻟ ﱠ ﺕ ِ ﺸﺘﺎ ِ ﻳﺎ
O You that brings the dead to life; O You that gathers together that which is scattered. O You that are informed of all intentions;
ya mottale'an ' alanni-yate,
You that restores that which has been lost;
ya radda ma qad fata,
O You that are not confused by a multiplicity of voices;
ya man-la tash-tabeho '
O You that are not harassed by a multitude of petitions;
ya man la tozjero-hool mas'alato
alaihi-il aswato,
ﺕ َ ً ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ﱠﻄ ِﻠﻌﺎ ِ ﻋﻠَ ٰﻰ ﺍﻟﻨّـِﻴّﺎ َﻳﺎ ﺭﺍﺩﱠ ﻣﺎ ﻗَ ْﺪ ﻓﺎﺕ ْ َﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﺗ ْ َﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ ﺍﻷ ُ ﺻ ﻮﺍﺕ َ ُﺸﺘَ ِﺒﻪ ْ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﺗ ُ َ ﻀ ِﺠ ُﺮﻩُ ْﺍﻟ َﻤﺴْﺄ ﻻﺕ
and Whom no darkness can hide or cover;
wa la tagh- shahooz-zolomato,
َﻭﻻ ﺗَ ْﻐﺸﺎﻩُ ﱡ ُ ُﺍﻟﻈﻠ ،ﻤﺎﺕ
O Light of heaven and earth.
ya nooral-arze was-samawate
ﺕ ِ ﺽ ﻭﺍﻟﺴﱠﻤﺎﻭﺍ ِ ْﻮﺭ ﺍﻷَﺭ َ ُﻳﺎ ﻧ
O Perfector of blessings;
ya sabeghanne'ame,
ﻳﺎ ﺳﺎ ِﺑ َﻎ ﺍﻟﻨّـِ َﻌ ِﻢ
O Averter of calamaties;
ya dafe-an-neqame,
،ﻳﺎ ﺩﺍﻓِ َﻊ ﺍﻟﻨّـِﻘَ ِﻢ
O Producer of zephyrs;
ya bare'al-nesame,
ﺴ ِﻢ َ ﺑﺎﺭ َ ﺉ ﺍﻟﻨﱠ ِ ﻳﺎ
O Gatherer of nations;
ya jamea'l omame,
ﺟﺎﻣ َﻊ ﺍﻷ َﻣ ِﻢ ِ ﻳﺎ
ya shafe-yas-saqame
ﻳﺎ ﺷﺎﻓِ َﻲ ﺍﻟ ﱠ ﺴﻘَ ِﻢ
O Healer of disease; O Creator of light and darkness;
ya khaleqan-noore, waz-zolame,

ﻮﺭ َﻭ ﱡ ﺍﻟﻈ َﻠ ِﻢ َ ﻳﺎ ﺧﺎ ِﻟ ِ ﻖ ﺍﻟﻨﱡ

O Lord of generosity and munificence;
ya zal joode wal-karame,
ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟﺠُﻮ ِﺩ َﻭ ْﺍﻟﻜ ََﺮ ِﻡ ،ﺷﻪُ ﻗَﺪَ ٌﻡ َ ْﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﻳَ َﻄﺄ ﻋَﺮ
O You (on) whose throne no one can set foot!
ya man la yata' o arshahoo qadamoon
O You more generous than the most generous;
ya ajwadal ajwadeena,
َ ﻳﺎ ﺃَ ْﺟ َﻮﺩَ ﺍﻷَ ْﺟ َﻮ ﺩﻳﻦ
O You more munificent than the most munificent;
ya akramal-akrameena,
َ ﻳﺎ ﺃَ ْﻛ َﺮ َﻡ ﺍﻷَ ْﻛ َﺮ ﻣﻴﻦ
O You most keen of hearing than the most keen of hearing;
ya asma'as-same'eena,
َ ّﺎﻣ ْ َﻳﺎ ﺃ ﻌﻴﻦ ِ ﺳ َﻤ َﻊ ﺍﻟﺴ
O You more keen of vision than the most perceiving;
ya absaran-nazereena,
َ ﺎﻅ ﺮﻳﻦ ِ ّﺼ َﺮ ﺍﻟﻨ َ ﻳﺎ ﺃَ ْﺑ
O Protecting neighbor of those that seek Your neighborhood.
ya jaral-moostajeereena,
َﺴﺘ َ ْ ﺟﺎﺭ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤ ﺠﻴﺮﻳﻦ َ ﻳﺎ
O Refuge of the fearful;
ya amanal-khaa'efeena,
َ ِﻣﺎﻥ ْﺍﻟﺨﺎﺋ َ َﻳﺎ ﺃ ﻔﻴﻦ
ya zahral-lajeena,
َ ّﻳﺎ َﻅ ْﻬ َﺮ ﺍﻟﻼ ﺟﻴﻦ
ya wali-yal mo'meneena,
َ ﻳﺎ َﻭ ِﻟ ﱠﻲ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤ ْﺆ ِﻣ ﻨﻴﻦ
O supporter of those who take refuge (in You) O Patron of the faithful; O Helper of those that seek Your help; O ultimate Goal of those that aspire.
ya gheyathal mos-tagheetheena, ya ghayatat-talebeena,
َ ﻳﺎ ِﻏ َﺴﺘ َ ْ ﻴﺎﺙ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤ ﻐﻴﺜﻴﻦ ّ َﻳﺎ ﻏﺎﻳَﺔ َ ﺍﻟﻄﺎ ِﻟ ﺒﻴﻦ
O Companion of all strangers;
ya saheba koolle gharibin,
َ ِ ﺐ ُﻛ ّﻞ ﺐ ﻳﺎ ِ ٍ ﻏﺮﻳ َ ﺻﺎﺣ
O Friend of all the lonely ones;
ya moonisa koollee waheedin,
،ٍﺲ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ َﻭﺣﻴﺪ َ ِﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺆﻧ
O Refuge of all outcasts; O Retreat of all persecuted ones;
ya malja-a koolle tariddin,
ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻠ َﺠﺄ َ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ َﻁﺮﻳ ٍﺪ
ya maawa koolee shareedin,
ﺄﻭﻯ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﺷَﺮﻳ ٍﺪ ٰ ﻳﺎ َﻣ

O Guardian of all those who stray.
ya hafeza koolle zal-iatin,
،ٍﻳﺎ ﺣﺎﻓِ َﻆ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﺿﺎﻟﱠﺔ
ya rahemash-shaikhil-kabire,
ﺭﺍﺣ َﻢ ﺍﻟ ﱠ ،َﺒﻴﺮ ِ ﻳﺎ ِ ﺸ ْﻴﺦِ ْﺍﻟﻜ
O You that nourishes the little baby;
ya razeqat- tiflis-saghire,
ﻕ ﺍﻟّ ِﻄ ْﻔ ِﻞ ﺍﻟ ﱠ ﻐﻴﺮ َ ﺭﺍﺯ ِ ﺼ ِ ﻳﺎ
O You that joins together broken ones;
ya jaber-al'azmil kaseere,
َﺴﻴﺮ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺟﺎﺑِ َﺮ ْﺍﻟﻌَ ْﻈ ِﻢ ْﺍﻟﻜ
O Liberator of all prisoners;
ya fak-ka koolle aseerin,
ﻳﺎ ﱠ ،ﺳﻴﺮ ٍ َﻓﺎﻙ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﺃ
O You that takes pity on the aged and decrepit;
O Enricher of the miserable poor;
ya moghni-yal-baa'esil-faqeere,
،ﻘﻴﺮ ِ َﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﻐﻨِ َﻲ ْﺍﻟﺒﺎﺋِ ِﺲ ْﺍﻟﻔ
O Protector of the frightened refugees;
ya ismatal-khaa'efil moostajeere,
ْ ﻳﺎ ِﻋ ْ ﻒ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤ ،ﺠﻴﺮ ِ ﺼ َﻤﺔَ ْﺍﻟﺨﺎ ِﺋ ِ َﺴﺘ
O You for Whom alone are both destiny and disposal;
ya man lahoot-tadbeero wattaqdeero,
ﺪﻳﺮ ُ ﺑﻴﺮ َﻭﺍﻟﺘﱠ ْﻘ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻟَﻪُ ﺍﻟﺘﱠ ْﺪ
O You for Whom all difficult things are simple and easy;
ya manil'aseero, alaihe sahloon yaseeroon,
،ﺴﻴﺮ َ ﺴﻴﺮ ٌ َﺳ ْﻬ ٌﻞ ﻳ َ ﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ ُ َﻳﺎ َﻣ ِﻦ ْﺍﻟﻌ
O You that does not need any explanation.
ya man la yahtajo ila tafseerin,
ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ َﻳ ْﺤﺘﺎ ،ﺴﻴﺮ ٍ ﻟﻰ ﺗَ ْﻔ ٰ ﺝ ِﺇ
O You Mighty over all things;
ya man howa ' ala koolle shai-in qadeeroon,
ْ ِ َﻠﻰ ُﻛ ّﻞ ﺪﻳﺮ ٌ َﺷﻲءٍ ﻗ ٰ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ ﻋ
O You Knower of all things.
ya man howa be-koolle shai-in khabiroon,
ﺒﻴﺮ ٌ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ ِﺑ ُﻜ ّﻞ ِ ﺷ َْﻲءٍ َﺧ
O You Seer of all things.
ya man howa be-koollee shai-in baseeroon,
،ﺼﻴﺮ ٌ َﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫ َﻮ ِﺑ ُﻜ ّﻞ ِ ﺷ َْﻲءٍ ﺑ
ya moorselar-reyahe,
ّ ﺳ َﻞ ِ ْﻳﺎ ﻣُﺮ ِﺍﻟﺮ ِﻳﺎﺡ
O You that cleaves the day-break;
ya faleqal asbahe,
ْ ﺍﻹ َ ﻳﺎ ﻓﺎ ِﻟ ِ ﻖ ِﺻﺒﺎﺡ
O Reviver of the spirits;
ya ba'esal arwahe,
َ ﻳﺎ ﺑﺎ ِﻋ ِﺚ ﺍﻷَﺭْ ﻭﺍﺡ
O You that makes breezes blow;

O Lord of Generosity and Clemency;
ya-zaljoode was-samahe,
ِﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟﺠُﻮ ِﺩ َﻭﺍﻟﺴﱠﻤﺎﺡ
O You in Whose hands are all keys.
ya man be-yadehi koollo miftahin,
،ٍﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ِﺑﻴَ ِﺪ ِﻩ ُﻛ ﱡﻞ ِﻣ ْﻔﺘﺎﺡ
O Hearer of all voices;
ya same'a koolle sowtin,
ٍ ْﺻﻮ ﺕ َ ِ ﺳﺎﻣ َﻊ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﻳﺎ
O You earlier in time than all that have passed away;
ya sabeqa koolle fawtin,
ٍ ْﻖ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﻓَﻮ ﺕ َ ِﻳﺎ ﺳﺎﺑ
O Giver of life to every soul after death.
ya moh-yeya koolle nafsin ba'dal mowte,
،ِﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺤﻴِ َﻲ ُﻛ ّﻞ ِ ﻧَ ْﻔ ٍﺲ ﺑَ ْﻌﺪَ ﺍﻟ َﻤﻮْ ﺕ
ya 'oddati fee shiddati
ُ ﻳﺎ ﺷﺪﱠﺗﻲ ِ ﻋﺪﱠﺗﻲ ﻓﻲ
O my Guardian in strange lands;
ya hafezi fee ghoorbati,
ُ ﻳﺎ ﺣﺎ ِﻓﻈﻲ ِ ﻓﻲ ﻏﺮْ َﺑﺘﻲ
O my Friend in my loneliness;
ya moonesi fee wahdati,
ﻳﺎ ُﻣﺆﻧِﺴﻲ ﻓﻲ َﻭ ْﺣﺪَﺗﻲ
O my Master in my bliss;
ya wali-yee fee ne'mati,
ﻳﺎ َﻭ ِﻟﻴّﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻧِ ْﻌ َﻤﺘﻲ
O my Means of defense in confronting hardships;
O my Refuge at the time when the journey does tire me out and my kinsfolk hand me over to my foes
ya kahfi heena to'eenil-mazahibo wa tosal-iemonil-aqaribo
َ ﻳﺎ َﻛ ْﻬﻔﻲ ﺐ ُ ﺣﻴﻦ ﺗُﻌْﻴﻴ ِﻨﻲ ْﺍﻟ َﻤﺬﺍ ِﻫ ﺏ ُ ﻗﺎﺭ َ ُ َﻭﺗ ِ َﺴﻠّـِ ُﻤﻨﻲ ِ ﺍﻷ ﺐ َﻭﻳَ ْﺨﺬُﻟُﻨﻲ ُﻛ ﱡﻞ ِ ٍ ﺻﺎﺣ
and all my comrades forsake me.
wa yakhzo-loni koollo sahebin
O Supporter of those who have no support;
ya ' imada man la 'imada lahoo,
،ُﻳﺎ ِﻋﻤﺎﺩَ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ِﻋﻤﺎﺩَ ﻟَﻪ
O Guarantor of those who have no guarantee;
ya sanada man la sanada lahoo,
،ُﺳﻨَﺪَ ﻟَﻪ َ ﺳﻨَﺪَ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ َ ﻳﺎ
O Wealth of those who have no wealth;
ya zookhra man la zookra lahoo,
،ُﻳﺎ ﺫُ ْﺧ َﺮ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﺫُ ْﺧ َﺮ ﻟَﻪ
O Means of those who have no strength;
ya hirza man la hirza lahoo,
،ُﻳﺎ ِﺣﺮْ َﺯ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ِﺣﺮْ َﺯ ﻟَﻪ

O Refuge of those who have no refuge;
ya kahfa man la kahfa lahoo,
،ُﻒ ﻟَﻪ َ ﻒ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ َﻛ ْﻬ َ ﻳﺎ َﻛ ْﻬ
O Treasure of those who have no treasure;
ya kanza man la kanza lahoo,
،ُﻳﺎ ﻛ َْﻨ َﺰ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ﻛ َْﻨ َﺰ ﻟَﻪ
O He who relies on those who have none to rely on,
ya rookna man la rookna lahoo,
،ُﻳﺎ ُﺭ ْﻛ َﻦ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ُﺭ ْﻛ َﻦ ﻟَﻪ
O Helper of those who have no helper;
ya gheyasa man la gheyasa lahoo,
َ ﻴﺎﺙ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ ِﻏ َ ﻳﺎ ِﻏ ،ُﻴﺎﺙ ﻟَﻪ
O Neighbour of those who have no neighbour.
ya jara man la jara lahoo,
،ُﺟﺎﺭ ﻟَﻪ َ ﺟﺎﺭ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻻ َ ﻳﺎ
O my Neighbour that are adjacent;
ya jare-yal-laseeqo,
ﻱ ﺍﻟﻠﱠ ،ﺼﻴﻖ َ ِ ﻳﺎ َ ﺟﺎﺭ
ya rokni-yal-watheeqo,
،ﺛﻴﻖ َ ﻳﺎ ُﺭ ْﻛ ِﻨ َﻲ ﺍ ْﻝ َ◌ َﻭ
O my God that are worshipped by virtue of positive knowledge;
ya ilahi bit- tahqeeqi
،ﻘﻴﻖ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺇِﻟ ٰـ ِﻬﻲ ﺑِﺎﻟﺘﱠ ْﺤ
O Lord of the Ancient House (the Ka'ba);
ya rabbal-baitil-attiqi,
،ﺘﻴﻖ ِ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺏﱠ ْﺍﻟﺒَ ْﻴ ِ َﺖ ْﺍﻟﻌ
O You full of loving and kindness; O nearest Friend.
ya shafiqo, ya rafiqo,
ُ ﻖ ﻳﺎ َﺭﻓﻴ ُ ﻳﺎ ﺷَﻔﻴ ﻖ
Liberate me from the choking fetters,
fukkani min hel-aqil-mazeeqe
Remove from me all sorrow, suffering and grief,
wasrif ' anni koolla hammin wa ghammin wa zeeqin
O my Support that are firm;
Protect me from the evil that I am unable to bear, and help me in that which I can bear,
wak-feni sharra ma la oteeqo wa a'inni 'ala ma oteeqo,
O You that did restore Yusuf unto Yaqub;
ya radda yousofa ' ala ya' qooba,
O You that did cure Ayyub of his malady;
ya kashefa zorre ayy-ooba

،ﻀﻴﻖ ﻖ ْﺍﻟ َﻤ ِ ِ َﻓُ ﱠﻜﻨﻲ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺣﻠ َ ﻋﻨّﻲ ُﻛ ﱠﻞ َﻫ ّﻢ ٍ َﻭ ْ َﻭﺍ ْ ﺻ ِﺮ ،ﺿﻴﻖ ﻏ ّﻢ ٍ َﻭ َ ﻑ ٍ ،َُﻭﺍ ْﻛ ِﻔﻨﻲ ﺷ ﱠَﺮ ﻣﺎ ﻻ ﺃُﻁﻴﻖ ،َُﻠﻰ ﻣﺎ ﺃُﻁﻴﻖ ٰ َﻭﺃَ ِﻋﻨّﻲ ﻋ ،ﻮﺏ َ ﻳﺎ ﺭﺍﺩﱠ ﻳُﻮﺳ َ َُﻠﻰ ﻳَ ْﻌﻘ ٰ ُﻒ ﻋ ُ ﻒ ،ﱡﻮﺏ ِ ﻳﺎ ﻛﺎ َ ﺷ َ ﺿ ّﺮ ِ ﺃَﻳ

O You that did forgive the fault of Dawood;
ya ghafera zambe dawooda,
O You that did lift up Isa
ya rafe'a 'isabne maryama
and saved him from the clutches of the Jews;
wa moonje yaho min
O You that did answer the prayer of Yunus from the darkness;
ya mojeeba nidaa'e younosa fizzoloma-te
aidil ya-hoode,
O You that did choose Musa by means of Your inspired words;
ya mostafeya moosa bilkalemate,
O You that did forgive the omission of Adam
ya man ghafara le-adama khatee'ataho
and lifted up Idris to an exalted station by Your mercy;
wa rafa'a idreesa makanan '
O You that did save Nooh from drowning;
ya man najja noohan minal gharqe,
O You that did destroy the former tribe of Ad and then Thamud, so that no trade of them remained, and destroyed the people of Noah before that, for verily they were the most unjust and most rebellious; and overturned the ruined and deserted towns;
ali-yan be-rahmatehi,
ya man ahlaka 'aadan nil-oola wa thamooda fama ab-qa wa qowma noohin min qablo innahoom kan-oo hoom azlama wa atgha walmo 'tafekata ahwa,
،َﺩﺍﻭﺩ ُ ﺐ ِ ﻳﺎ ﻏﺎﻓِ َﺮ ﺫَ ْﻧ ﺴ ٰﻰ ْﺑ ِﻦ َﻣﺮْ ﻳَ َﻢ َ ﻳﺎ ﺭﺍﻓِ َﻊ ﻋﻴ ،ِﻬﻮﺩ ُ ََﻭ ُﻣ ْﻨ ِﺠﻴَﻪُ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﺃَ ْﻳﺪِﻱ ْﺍﻟﻴ ﺲ ِﻓﻲ ﱡ ،ِﺍﻟﻈﻠُﻤﺎﺕ ِ ﺠﻴﺐ ِﻧ َ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ َ ُﺪﺍء ﻳُﻮﻧ ْ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ،ِﻮﺳﻰ ﺑِ ْﺎﻟ َﻜ ِﻠﻤﺎﺕ ٰ ﺼ َﻄ ِﻔ َﻲ ُﻣ َ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻏﻔَ َﺮ ِﻵﺩَ َﻡ َﺧﻄﻴـﺌَﺘَﻪ ،ﻋ ِﻠﻴّﺎ ً ِﺑ َﺮ ْﺣ َﻤﺘِ ِﻪ َ ً ﺭﻳﺲ َﻣﻜﺎﻧﺎ َ َﻭ َﺭﻓَ َﻊ ِﺇ ْﺩ ،ﻕ ِ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻧَ ّﺠ ٰﻰ ﻧُﻮﺣﺎ ً ِﻣ َﻦ ْﺍﻟﻐَ َﺮ ﻭﻟﻰ ٰ ُ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺃَ ْﻫﻠَﻚَ ﻋﺎﺩﺍً ﺍﻷ ﻘﻰ ٰ َﻭﺛَ ُﻤﻮﺩَ ﻓَﻤﺎ ﺃَ ْﺑ ﻧﻮﺡٍ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻗَ ْﺒ ُﻞ ُ َﻭﻗَﻮْ َﻡ ،ﻐﻰ ٰ ﺇِﻧﱠ ُﻬ ْﻢ ﻛﺎﻧُﻮﺍ ُﻫ ْﻢ ﺃَ ْﻅﻠَ َﻢ َﻭﺃَ ْﻁ ﻮﻯ ٰ َﻭ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤ ْﺆﺗَ ِﻔﻜَﺔَ ﺃَ ْﻫ
ya man dammara ' ala qowme lootin
ٍﻟﻮﻁ ُ َﻠﻰ ﻗَﻮْ ِﻡ ٰ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺩَﻣ َﱠﺮ ﻋ
and annihilated the people of Sho'aib;
wa damdama, 'ala qowme shoaibin,
ُ َﻠﻰ ﻗَﻮْ ِﻡ ،ﺐ ٍ ﺷﻌَ ْﻴ ٰ َﻭﺩَﻣْ ﺪَ َﻡ ﻋ
O You that chose Ibrahim as a friend;
ya manit- tak-haza ibrahima khaleelan,
O You that destroyed the people of Lot;

،ًﻳﺎ َﻣ ِﻦ ﺍﺗﱠ َﺨﺬَ ﺇِ ْﺑﺮﺍﻫﻴ َﻢ َﺧﻠﻴﻼ
Spreading the true religion of Allah, Wilayat e Ali (asws)
O You that chose Musa as one spoken unto;
ً ﻮﺳﻰ ﻛَﻠﻴﻤﺎ ٰ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ِﻦ ﺍﺗﱠ َﺨﺬَ ُﻣ
ya manit-takhaza moosa kaleeman,
and chose Muhammed (Your blessings be upon him and his Progeny, all of them) as Your Beloved;
ya manit-takhaza mohammadan sal-lal-aho ' alaihe wa alehi ajma' eena habee-ban,
O You that gave unto Luqman wisdom;
ya mo'teya loqmanal hikmata
wal-wahaba le-solaimana and bestowed upon Sulaiman a kingdom the like of which shall not be moolkan, la yambaghi le-ahedimmim-ba'dehi, merited by anyone after him;
O You that did afford succour unto the Zul Qarnayn against the mighty tyrants;
ya man nasara zal-qarnaine ' aial-malookil-jababerate
O You that did grant unto Khizr long life;
ya man a'tal-khizral-hayata,
and brought back for Yusha, the son of Nun, the sun after it had set;
wa radda le- yoosha 'abne noon ash-shamse ba'da ghoroobiha
O You that gave solace unto the heart of Musa's mother;
ya man rabata, ala qalbe oome moosa
and protected the chastity of Mariam, the daughter of Imran;
wa ahsana farja ma-ryamab-nate 'imrana,
O You that did fortify Yahya, the Son of Zakaria against sin;
ya man hassana yahya-bna zakariya minaz-zambe,
ﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ َﻭﺁ ِﻟ ِﻪ َ ُﺻﻠﱠ ٰﻰ ﷲ َ ًَﻭﺍﺗﱠ َﺨﺬَ ُﻣ َﺤﻤﱠﺪﺍ َ ﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻬ ْﻢ ﺃَ ْﺟ َﻤ ،ًﻌﻴﻦ َﺣﺒﻴﺒﺎ َ َﻭ َﻤﺎﻥ ْﺍﻟ ِﺤ ْﻜ َﻤﺔ َ ﻳﺎ ُﻣ ْﺆﺗِ َﻲ ﻟُ ْﻘ َ ﺐ ِﻟﺴُﻠَ ْﻴ ﻤﺎﻥ ُﻣ ْﻠﻜﺎ ً ﻻ َﻳ ْﻨ َﺒﻐﻲ ِﻷَ َﺣ ٍﺪ ِﻣ ْﻦ َ َﻭ ْﺍﻟﻮﺍ ِﻫ ،ِﺑَ ْﻌ ِﺪﻩ ﻮﻙ َ ﺼ َﺮ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟﻘَﺮْ ﻧَ ْﻴ ِﻦ ِ ُﻋﻠَ ٰﻰ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤﻠ َ َﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻧ ،ْﺍﻟ َﺠﺒﺎ ِﺑ َﺮ ِﺓ ْ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺃَ ْﻋ َﻄ ٰﻰ ْﺍﻟ ِﺨ ،َﻀ َﺮ ْﺍﻟ َﺤﻴﺎﺓ ﻧﻮﻥ ﺍﻟ ﱠ َﺲ ﺑَ ْﻌﺪ َ َﻭ َﺭﺩﱠ ِﻟﻴُﻮ ُ ﺷ َﻊ ْﺑ ِﻦ َ ْﺸﻤ ﻏﺮ ُﻭ ِﺑﻬﺎ ُ ﻮﺳﻰ ِ َﻠﻰ َﻗ ْﻠ ٰ ﺐ ﺃ ّﻡ ِ ُﻣ ٰ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺭﺑَ َﻂ ﻋ َ ﺖ ِﻋ ،ﻤْﺮﺍﻥ ِ َﺼ َﻦ ﻓَﺮْ َﺝ َﻣﺮْ ﻳَ َﻢ ﺍ ْﺑﻨ َ َﻭﺃَ ْﺣ ْ ﺼ َﻦ ﻳَ ْﺤﻴَ ٰﻰ ْﺑ َﻦ َﺯﻛ َِﺮﻳّﺎ ِﻣ َﻦ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺣ ﱠ ﺐ ِ ﺍﻟﺬﻧ
and abated the wrath for Musa;
wa sakkana 'an moosal-ghazaba,
َ َﺳ ٰﻰ ْﺍﻟﻐ ،ﺐ َ ﺳ ﱠﻜ َﻦ ﻋ َْﻦ ُﻣﻮ َ َﻭ َ ﻀ
O You that gave glad tidings of (the Birth of) Yahya unto Zakaria;
ya man bash-shera zakariyyabeyahya,
ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺑ ﱠ ،ﻴﻰ ٰ ﺸ َﺮ َﺯﻛ َِﺮﻳّﺎ ِﺑ َﻴ ْﺤ
O You that saved Ismaeel from slaughter by substituting for him the Great Sacrifice;
ya man fada isma'eela minazzabhe be-zabhin ' azim,
ٍﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻓَﺪﺍ ﺇِﺳْﻤﺎﻋﻴ َﻞ ِﻣ َﻦ ﺍﻟﺬ ْﺑﺢِ ﺑِ ِﺬ ْﺑﺢ ،َﻈﻴﻢ ٍ ﻋ
O You that did accept the offering of Habeel
ya man qabela qoorbana habeela
َ ْﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻗَ ِﺒ َﻞ ﻗُﺮ ﺑﺎﻥ ﻫﺎﺑﻴ َﻞ
and placed the curse upon Qabeel.
waj'alal-la'nata ' ala qabeela,
،َﻠﻰ ﻗﺎﺑﻴ َﻞ ٰ َﻭ َﺟﻌَ َﻞ ﺍﻟﻠﱠ ْﻌﻨَﺔَ ﻋ

O Subduer of the alien hordes for Muhammad - the blessings of Allah be upon him and his Progeny -
ya hazemal-ahzabe le mohammadin sal-lal-aho ' alaihe wa alehi
ﻋﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ َ ُﺻﻠﱠ ٰﻰ ﷲ َ ﺏ ِﻟ ُﻤ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ ِ ﻫﺎﺯ َﻡ ﺍﻷَ ْﺣﺰﺍ ِ ﻳﺎ ،َﻭﺁ ِﻟ ِﻪ
bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad
salli ‘ala mohammadin wa ' aale mohammadin
َﻠﻰ ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َﻭﺁ ِﻝ ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َ ٰ ﺻ ّﻞ ِ ﻋ
and upon all Your Messengers and upon the Angels that are near You
wa ' ala jami'il ambiyya'e walmoorsaleena wa malaa'ekatekalmoqarrabeena
َ ﺳ َﻠﻴﻦ َﻭ َﻣﻼﺋِ َﻜﺘِﻚ َ ْﻤﻴﻊ ْﺍﻟﻤُﺮ ٰ َﻭ ﻋ ِ َﻠﻰ َﺟ َ ْﺍﻟ ُﻤﻘَ ﱠﺮ ﺑﻴﻦ
and upon all Your obedient servants.
َ ﻋﺘِﻚَ ﺃَ ْﺟ َﻤ ،ﻌﻴﻦ َ َﻭﺃَ ْﻫ ِﻞ ﻁﺎ
wa ahle ta-'ateka ajmaeena
wa as-aloka be-koolle mas-'alatin And I beg of You all the requests which anyone has begged of You with sa'alaka beha ahadoon mimman razee-ta ' anho whom You has been pleased
ﺳﺄَﻟَﻚَ ِﺑﻬﺎ ﺃَ َﺣﺪٌ ِﻣﻤ ْﱠﻦ َ َﻭﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ِﺑ ُﻜ ّﻞ ِ َﻣﺴْﺄَﻟَ ٍﺔ ،َُﺭﺿﻴﺖَ ﻋ َْﻨﻪ
and unto whom You has assured the granting thereof,
fahatamta lahoo ' alal ijabate,
ﺍﻹﺟﺎﺑَ ِﺔ َ ُﻓَ َﺤﺘَﻤْ ﺖَ ﻟَﻪ ِ ﻋﻠَ ٰﻰ
O Allah, O Allah, O Allah,
ya allaho, ya allaho, ya allaho,
،ُ�َﻳﺎ ﺍَ�ُ ﻳﺎ ﺍَ�ُ ﻳﺎ ﺍ
O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful,
ya rahmano, ya rahmano, ya rahmano,
ُ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣ ْـ ٰﻤ ُﻦ ﻳﺎ َﺭ ، ﺣﻤﻦ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣ ْـ ٰﻤ ُﻦ
O Most Beneficient, O Most Beneficient, O Most Beneficient,
ya raheemo, ya raheemo ya raheemo,
،ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣﻴ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣﻴ ُﻢ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺣﻴ ُﻢ
O Lord of Majesty and Grace, O Lord of Majesty and Grace, O Lord of Majesty and Grace.
ya zal-jalale wal-ikrame, ya zaljalale wal-ikrame, ya zal-jalale wal-ikrame,
ﺮﺍﻡ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ َﺠﻼ ِﻝ َﻭ ِ ﺍﻹ ُﻛ ِ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ َﺠﻼ ِﻝ َﻭ ،ﺮﺍﻡ ِ ﺍﻹ ْﻛ ِ ﺍﻹ ْﻛ ِ ﺮﺍﻡ ﻳﺎ ﺫَﺍ ْﺍﻟ َﺠﻼ ِﻝ َﻭ ِ
Through You, Through You, Through You, Through You, Through You, Through You, Through You
behi, behi, behi, behi behi behi, behi,
ﺑـِ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ ﺑِـ ِﻪ
I beseech You with the help of all the Names whereby You have named Yourself,
as'aloka be-koolle ismin sammaita behi nafsaka
or which You have revealed in any of Your inspired Scriptures,
aw anza-itahoo fee shai-in min kootobeka
َﺃَﻭْ ﺃَ ْﻧ َﺰ ْﻟﺘَﻪُ ﻓﻲ ﺷ َْﻲءٍ ِﻣ ْﻦ ُﻛﺘُﺒِﻚ
or Which You have inscribed in Your knowledge of the unknown;
awis-taatharta behi fee '1imilghaibe indaka
ْ ﺃَ ِﻭ ﺍ ، َﺐ ِﻋ ْﻨﺪَﻙ ِ ﺳﺘَﺄﺛَﺮْ ﺕَ ِﺑ ِﻪ ﻓِﻲ ِﻋ ْﻠ ِﻢ ْﺍﻟﻐَ ْﻴ
and (I beseech You) in the name of the honored and exalted positions of Your Throne,
wa bema'aqedil-izze min 'arsheka

َﺴﻚ َ ﺳ ﱠﻤ ْﻴﺖَ ِﺑ ِﻪ ﻧَ ْﻔ َ ﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ِﺑ ُﻜ ّﻞ ِ ِﺇﺳ ٍْﻢ
، َﺷﻚ ِ َْﻭ ِﺑ َﻤﻌﺎ ِﻗ ِﺪ ْﺍﻟ ِﻌ ّﺰ ِ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻋَﺮ
Spreading the true religion of Allah, Wilayat e Ali (asws)
and in the name of the utmost extent of Your Mercy as expressed in Your Book (the Quran)
wa be-moontahar-rahmate min kitabeka
، َﺍﻟﺮ ْﺣ َﻤ ِﺔ ِﻣ ْﻦ ِﻛﺘﺎﺑِﻚ َﻭﺑِ ُﻤ ْﻨﺘَ َﻬ ٰﻰ ﱠ
and in the name of that which "If all the trees on earth were to become pens
wa bema low anna ma fil arze min shajaratin aqlamoon
ﺷ َﺠ َﺮ ٍﺓ َ ﺽ ِﻣ ْﻦ ِ َْﻭ ِﺑﻤﺎ ﻟَﻮْ ﺃَ ﱠﻥ ﻣﺎ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻷَﺭ ﺃَ ْﻗﻼ ٌﻡ
and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink)
wal-bahro yamooddo-hoo
ﺳ ْﺒﻌَﺔ ﺃَ ْﺑﺤ ٍُﺮ َ َﻭ ْﺍﻟﺒَ ْﺤ ُﺮ ﻳَ ُﻤﺪﱡﻩُ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﺑَ ْﻌ ِﺪ ِﻩ
mim-ba'dehi sab'ato abhorin
the Words of Allah would not come to an end.
ma nafedat ka-lematoollahe
ُ ﻣﺎ ﻧَ ِﻔﺪ َْﺕ َﻛ ِﻠ ِﻤﺎﺕ ﷲ
Verily Allah is the Honoured, the Wise" 31:27;
innal-laha azeezon hakeem,
ٌ ِﺇ ﱠﻥ ﷲَ ﻋ َﺰﻳﺰ َﺣﻜﻴ ٌﻢ
And I beseech You with the help of Your Beautiful Names which You have praised in Your Book,
wa as'aloka be-asmaa'ekal hoosnal-lati na'attaha fee kitabeka
ْ َﻭ ﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ﺑِﺄَﺳْﻤﺎﺋِﻚَ ْﺍﻟ ُﺤ ﺴﻨَ ٰﻰ ﺍﻟﱠﺘﻲ ﻧَﻌَﺘﱠﻬﺎ َﻓﻲ ِﻛﺘﺎ ِﺑﻚ
saying “The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them” 7:180
faqoolta wa lillahil asmaa'oolhoosna fad-ooho beha
،ﻋﻮﻩُ ِﺑﻬﺎ ُ ْﻨﻰ ﻓَﺎ ْﺩ ٰ ﻓَﻘُ ْﻠﺖَ َﻭ�ِ ﺍﻷَﺳْﻤﺎ ُء ْﺍﻟ ُﺤﺴ
And You have said "Call unto Me and I shall answer you” 40:60
waqulta ‘ud’ooni astajib lakom
ُ َْﻭﻗُ ْﻠﺖَ ﺍ ُﺩ ْ َﻋﻮﻧﻲ ﺃ ،ﺳﺘَ ِﺠﺐْ ﻟَ ُﻜ ْﻢ
and You has said, "And when My servants ask something of Me, lo, I am near, and I grant the prayer of the supplicant when he asks anything of Me” 2:186
wa qoolta wa iza sa'al-aka 'ibadi ' anni fa-inni qareeboon ojeebo da'w-atad-da'e iza da'ane
ﻋ ّﻨﻲ ﻓَ ِﺈﻧّـِﻲ َ ﺳﺄَﻟَﻚَ ِﻋﺒﺎﺩﻱ َ َﻭﻗُ ْﻠﺖَ َﻭ ِﺇﺫﺍ ،َﻋﺎﻥ ُ ُ ﻗَﺮﻳﺐٌ ﺃ ِ ﺟﻴﺐ ﺩَ ْﻋ َﻮﺓَ ﺍﻟﺪّﺍﻉِ ﺇِﺫﺍ ﺩ
And You has said, "O My servants who have wronged yourselves, despair not of the Mercy of Allah;
wa qoolta ya 'lbadeyal-lazeena asrafoo ' ala anfosehim la taqnatoo min rahmatil-iahe
َ َِﻱ ﺍﻟّﺬ َﻠﻰ ُ ﻳﻦ ﺃَﺳ َْﺮ ٰ ﻓﻮﺍ ﻋ َ َﻭﻗُ ْﻠﺖَ ﻳﺎ ِﻋﺒﺎﺩ ُ ﺃَ ْﻧﻔُﺴ ِِﻬ ْﻢ ﻻ ﺗَ ْﻘ َﻨ ِﻄﻮﺍ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺭ ْﺣ َﻤ ِﺔ ﷲ
verilly Allah forgives all the sins;
innal-laha yaghferooz-zonooba jami-an
ً ﻮﺏ َﺟﻤﻴﻌﺎ َ ُِﺇ ﱠﻥ ﷲَ َﻳ ْﻐ ِﻔ ُﺮ ﺍﻟﺬﻧ
verily He is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 39:53 Therefore I pray unto You, My God, and I ask You, My Cherisher and Sustainer, and I hope from You, my Chief,
innahoo howal ghafooror ra'-him, wa ana as'aloka ya ilahi wa a'dooka ya rabbe, wa arjooka ya sayyadi

،ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻴ ُﻢ ﻮﺭ ﱠ ُ ُﺇِﻧﱠﻪُ ُﻫ َﻮ ْﺍﻟﻐَﻔ ِ َّﻭﺃَﻧَﺎ ﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ﻳﺎ ِﺇﻟ ٰـ ِﻬﻲ َﻭﺃَ ْﺩﻋُﻮﻙَ ﻳﺎ َﺭﺏ ﺳﻴّـِﺪﻱ َ َﻭﺃَﺭْ ﺟُﻮﻙَ ﻳﺎ
Spreading the true religion of Allah, Wilayat e Ali (asws)
and I crave Your acceptance of my prayer, O my Protector, even as You have promised me,
wa atma'o fee ijabati, ya mowlaya kama wa' ad-tani
ﻻﻱ ﻛَﻤﺎ َ َْﻭﺃَ ْﻁ َﻤ ُﻊ ﻓﻲ ﺇِﺟﺎﺑَﺘﻲ ﻳﺎ َﻣﻮ ،ﻋ ْﺪﺗَﻨﻲ َ َﻭ
and I call upon You even as You have wa qad da'owtoka kama amartani commanded me
َﻭﻗَ ْﺪ ﺩَﻋَﻮْ ﺗُﻚَ ﻛَﻤﺎ ﺃَ َﻣﺮْ ﺗَﻨﻲ
So, do unto me what pleases You to do, O Generous One!
faf-al bi ma anta ah-lohoo, ya karimo
،ﻓَﺎﻓﻌَ ْﻞ ﺑﻲ ﻣﺎ ﺃَ ْﻧﺖَ ﺃَ ْﻫﻠُﻪُ ﻳﺎ ﻛَﺮﻳ ُﻢ
And all Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds,
wal-hamdo lil-iahe rabbil-' alameena,
َ ََﻭ ْﺍﻟﺤَﻤْ ﺪُ ّ�ِ َﺭﺏّ ِ ْﺍﻟﻌﺎﻟ ﻤﻴﻦ
and the blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and all His Descendants.
wa sal-lal-laho ' ala mohammadin wa alehi ajma'een

َ َﻠﻰ ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َﻭﺁ ِﻟ ِﻪ ﺃَ ْﺟ َﻤ ﻌﻴﻦ َ َﻭ ٰ ﺻﻠﱠ ٰﻰ ﷲُ ﻋ
