ِ الرِح يم َّ الر ْح َم ِن َّ بِ ْس ِم اللَّ ِه
ترک الصلىاة Not praying Abandoning prayers Disregarding the most important command of Allah
One who does not pray ...
One who does not pray Is distanced from the protection of Allah and the Prophet (sa)
The Prophet (sa) has said,
من ترک الصلىة متعمدا من غیر علة فقد برء من ذمة هللا و ذمة رسىله One who refrains from praying deliberately, for no reason, will be distanced from Allah and His Prophet’s protection.
One who does not pray Shaitan Dominates Him
The Prophet (sa) has said, Shaitan fears the sons of Adam as long as they offer their five daily prayers on time. When they lose them, Shaitan becomes courageous and makes him commit greater sins.
One who does not pray Crosses the fine line of Kufr
The Prophet (sa) has said,
َ َّ ُ ْ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ بین العب ِد و بین الکف ِر ثرک الصَل ِِة
The separation between disbelief and servitude is not praying.
One who does not pray Is distanced from the special mercy
The Apostle (sa) has said, One who does not pray is cursed in the Torah, Bible, Psalms and Quran. And is cursed by Jibrail, Mikail, Israfeel (as) and Mohammad (sa).
One who does not pray
The Prophet (sa) has said, ُ َ َ َ َ ََ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ ً ََ َ َ َ ْ َ ُ اف ع َق َاب َها َف ََل ُأ َبالی َأ َی ُم ْ ىت َی ُهىد ّی ًا َأ ْو َه ّص َراه ّی ًِا َِأ ْ ِو َم ُجىسیا ِ ِ ِ من ثرک صَلة َل یرجى ثىابها و َل یخ ِ ِ One who does not pray, hopes not its reward nor fears its wrath, I don’t care as to whether he dies a Jew, Christian or a Majoos.
One who does not pray
The Apostle (sa) has said,
من ثرک الصلىة متعمدا فقد کفر One who knowingly does not pray has embraced disbelief.
The Major sins defined by Imam Ali (as) are seven. 1. Kufr 2. Murder 3. Being declared disobedient by parents 4. Taking usury (interest) 5. Usurping the wealth of an orphan 6. Running away from the battlefield 7. Returning to ignorance after Hijrat
One who does not pray
The Prophet (sa) has said, من ثرک الصلىة متعمدا من غیر علة فقد برء من ذمة هللا و ذمة رسىله One who purposely does not pray, is distanced from the protection of Allah and His Prophet (sa).
By those who pray those who don’t are safe
: )امام صادق (علیه السَلم ّ َ ُ َ ْ َّ َ َ َ ّ َ ُ ْ َ ُ َ ْ َ َ َ َّ َّ َ ََ ُ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ ْ ْ ِ ِ ِإن الله لیدفع ِبمن یص ِلی ِمن ِشیع ِتىا عمن َل یص ِلی ِمن ِشیع ِتىا و لى أجمعىا على ثر ک ُ َ َ َ َ َّ الصَل ِة لهلکىا Imam Sadiq (as) Indeed afflictions are removed through our Shias who pray, from our Shias who do not pray. And if all refrained from prayers no doubt all would have perished.
One who does not pray
Imam Ali (as)
َ َ َّ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َّ ُ َّ َ َ ُ ّ اللهم العن من ثرک الصَلة متع ِمدا
May God curse one who does not pray purposely.
One who does not pray Hated by Islam and the Muslims
The Prophet (sa), من اعان ثارک الصلىة بلقمة او کسىة فکاهما قتل سبعین هبیا اولهم ادم و اخرهم محمد One who helps someone with food and clothing, someone who does not pray, is like killing seventy prophets. The first of whom is Adam and the last Prophet Mohammad (sa).
One who does not pray Suffers An Eternal Loss
One who does not pray Has no share in Islam
One who does not pray Has destroyed his religion
Surat al-Hamd
َّ َٰ ْ َّ َّ ِ ِ ِب ْس ِم الل ِه الرحم ِن الر ِح يم In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Surat al-Hamd
ْ ّ َّ ُ ْ ْ اَلین ِ الحمد ِلل ِه ر ِب الع All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
Surat al-Hamd
َٰ َّ َّ ِ ِ الر ْح َم ِن الر ِح يم the All-beneficent, the All-merciful
Surat al-Hamd
ّ ْ َمالك َي ِ ِ الد ين م ى ِ ِ ِ ِ Master of the Day of Retribution
Surat al-Hamd
َ إ َّي ُاك َو ْع ُب ِد ِ You [alone] do we worship
Surat al-Hamd
َ َوإ َّي ُاك َو ْس َتعین ِ ِ And to You [alone] do we turn for help
Surat al-Hamd
ُْ َ َ ّ َ ْ َ ْ َيم ِ الصراط اْلست ِق ِ اه ِدها Guide us on the straight path
َُ ْ َ َ َ ّ َ َ ّ ْ َّ َ َّ َ ُ ن سبحان رِبك ر ِب ال ِعز ِة عما ي ِصفى ََو َس ََل ٌم َع َلى ْاْلُ ْر َسلین َِ ََو ْال َح ْم ُد ل َّله َ ّب ْال َعاْلین ِ ِِ ِ ر
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above what they describe. And salaam be on the messengers. And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 37:180
