Happy New Year to all members; wishing you a very happy, healthy and prosperous year ahead.

Christmas seems a long time ago now but what a great month of festivities we had at the Club…the tree lighting ceremony along with festive food, mulled wine and the wonderful Christmas carols was excellent and well-attended. The festive attire at the ladies’ Christmas scramble was simply amazing and a huge effort went into the team outfits which made for a fantastic, fun-filled morning which was followed by lunch. The Mixed Christmas scramble was a bit more low key in terms of outfits but an enjoyable event nonetheless. New Year’s Eve was the usual high standard of food and

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

• Rake bunkers:: too many players, (including members), just walk into a bunker, play a shot and just walk out again, without even thinking of raking the bunker behind them • Repair pitch marks - keep our greens in the great condition they are in • If you inadvertently scuff a green, then please take the time to pat down the scuff mark with your putter, after putting out and before leaving the green

Thanks to Captains Ishu and Yana as well as Vice-Captains Boyd and Naema for all their hard work, particularly in the run up to Christmas, which is always a hectic time with so many competitions taking place. The next major event on the agenda is, of course, the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Like everything else, the event gets bigger and better each year and it is a true pleasure to see so many of the top golfers competing for the Dallah trophy on our wonderful course… and we get to see how it should be played. It has produced some dramatic finishes over the past 30 years and this year will be no exception I’m sure. Please read Club Manager Barney’s article on tickets, parking, access to the members’ chalet and clubhouse etc in this issue. Congratulations to Matthew Perry and the Golf Course Management team who have been working very hard and very long hours to prepare the course for this event. It really is looking stunning and it is such a pleasure to play the course in this condition (despite the difficulty of the rough!} Welcome to all players to the Omega Dubai Desert Classic hope you have an enjoyable and successful tournament. To all our members, enjoy the four days of this event..it goes by far too quickly. Welcome back to all past members who will be visiting for this period - it’s certain to be an excellent week so have a great time everyone.

Jacqui

• Fill in your divots, especially on the fairways. Make sure you have sand on your trolley on the course. • Avoid slow play. Keep up with the group in front of you at all times • Be polite and civil to the marshals. Listen to what they have to say and act accordingly. They are there to help everyone and they are just doing their job

Dear Members, How time flies! It’s already 2020 so I would like to wish all members a very healthy, happy fun-filled New Year! Last month our Christmas Mixed Scramble on December 14th was very well attended and, as usual, it produced some super scores. Congratulations to all the winners! The highlight of the evening prize distribution was the results of the first three recipients of the November Colleague of the Month’ award;

Our ever-smiling barista at Jones, Bijendra Thapa walked away as the winner receiving AED 1000 cash award. Runner-up was efficient and smiling Lynn from Spike Bar who received a AED 600 cash award. Third was the ever-attentive Cristine from Carine who received a AED 400 cash award. Congratulations to all three and thank you to all members for taking the time to visit the Member Zone to nominate the winning colleagues. Hopefully even more members will join this initiative. Profession: Computer teacher. I taught mostly in Dubai and I decided to retire and take up golf when one of my students told me that I had taught his mother!!!

Home country: Good question. Definitely Ireland but now I live in the Algarve in Portugal

Home country: Northern Ireland

Lowest handicap ever: 6.9. Amazing but it didn’t last too long! Current handicap: 10.8 and struggling to keep it! Any major wins? A few but the standout one was winning the Race to Dubai Pro-Am with Padraig Harrington, Mike Tracey and Mike Sim (three Past Captains of Emirates Golf Club) Favourite golfing holiday destination: Difficult one! It used to be Ireland and Portugal but now it’s Dubai and Ireland as I live in Portugal. Top three favourite courses you have ever played: Portmarnock, Druids Glen, Lahinch. The Majlis of course is my all time favourite. Funniest and/or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you, not specifically in golf: Wow! One hilarious one attended by golfing friends but not specific to golf...we were having a dinner party at home and had invited the wife of one of our “friends” as her husband was away. We were well through the dinner (and wine etc!!) when the doorbell rang. We thought “ how strange” at this time of night but answered anyway. There standing at the door was a delivery driver with many bags of food from Sind Punjab with our name and address!! “Click” we suddenly got it! The friend who was away was none other than Ian Walton and his wife Pat was at our dinner. He had phoned Sind Punjab from Sri Lanka and put in the order for us! I had no option but to pay up and then serve everyone with another dinner! The final straw was two weeks later when the infamous Ian Walton presented me with the bill for the phone call from Sri Lanka!!! A great “friend”!! Dream fourball: Mmm... so many to choose from... I’d have to say Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy but I’d need a caddy - and that would have to be Jennifer Aniston!! Other sports you are passionate about as a fan or participant: Irish Rugby and Football (Manchester United I’m afraid to say!!)! Other sports you have been involved in and at what level: Rugby, cricket, (School Cup teams) football, squash, tennis, mostly at a social or amateur level Family members: My wife Jacqui and son Ross. Your most abiding golfing experience or memory: Being at The Masters Tournament in Augusta which was a fantastic experience that Jacqui and I have experienced three times for me it is the best tournament in the world to attend.

Here at the Club we also utilise a Medalford format, whereby a player unable to finish a hole may continue their round using the stableford format. Proving that one bad hole does not ruin your whole round was Mike Kay who carded 36 points and took the win with a better-back-nine.

Congratulations to all players for taking part, to all winners on the day and thank you to everyone who joined us at the prize-presentation. As always the event would not be possible without our sponsors; OMA Emirates!

Any major wins? I think only for the most golf!! Favourite golfing holiday destination: I love playing golf in the beautiful climate of Portugal and the courses remind me of our lovely winter months in Dubai. Top three favourite courses you have ever played: Murvagh also known as Donegal Golf Club; on a good day this links course has the most spectacular views! Laranjal Golf course, Portugal and of course, our amazing Majlis here at Emirates Golf Club. Funniest and/or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you, not specifically in golf.: When I was learning to play golf I was playing the Majlis with my brotherin-law and nephew, on what we hoped was only going to be a three-ball, when at the last moment a fourth player was added. He was a rather sporty looking young man who joined me in the buggy! I apologised at the beginning of the round and told him I had just got my handicap! He spent most of the time raking bunkers for me. I asked who he worked for and he said Juventus, “Oh” I said. Pharmaceutical industry?” My nephew informed me at the end that I had been playing with Pavel Nedved - the poor guy spent most of the time encouraging me to keep going! Dream fourball: Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy and Leona Maguire Most exciting moment in golf for you whether personally or watching: Watching Miguel Ángel-Jiménez beat Lee Westwood in a play-off at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. It was such an exciting finish and sitting in hospitality overlooking the 18th green was amazing! Other sports you are passionate about as a fan or participant: I loved playing hockey, tennis and netball at school. I took up softball in Dubai when I came here in 1983 and was part of the first non-American ladies’ team to win the league! We were called Enterra Rebels! Other sports you have been involved in and at what level: Over the last few years I have enjoyed long distance walking and I am currently walking the Camino de Santiago Family members: I have been married to Pete for 36 years whom I met at College. We have one son, Rory, who is living and working in Chicago.

OMA january Medal On Friday 3rd January the first OMA Medal of 2020 took place on the Majlis course. While the course is in fabulous condition, the rough has grown a lot and it was definitely a challenge for everyone!

Joe Way started the prize giving by saying: “Thank you to our returning sponsors, OMA Emirates, for their continued support of the OMA Medal. This event could not have been possible without them.” In A Division (handicaps 0-10), the top three players all finished with 72 net so it all came down to a better back nine count-back. It was Kush Shama who was victorious; runner up was Dash Dhawan with Bipin Bhatia finishing in third place.

Sekhar Reddy scored the best net of the day with a 69 net. He was also the winner of tB Division (handicaps 11-20). Only one shot behind was our Club Captain Ishu Rupani, who was runner up in this division B Division with a net 70. Ravi Khanna finished in third place with a net 71. In C division (handicaps 21-28), Frank Duggan was the winner a net 74. In the Stableford event Asim Arshad won with 37points.

Congratulations to all players for taking part, to all winners on the day and thank you for everyone who joined us at the prize presentation.!

Dear All, I hope you all had a wonderful festive season; by the time you read this I’m sure that you will be well and truly underway with your New Year’s resolutions. Reflecting back on December, I was at the Christmas Tree lighting which was a very well attended event; unfortunately though, I did not see many members there which was a real shame as you missed some lovely singing of Christmas carols which got us all in the mood for the Christmas season!

We had some great events in December, one of the highlights having been our ladies’ Christmas Scramble which was extremely colourful and lots of fun! It was lovely to see so many ladies put in such a huge effort into creating festive outfits; all the teams looked superb on the golf course and so glamorous at the lovely Christmas lunch which took place in the chalet on the 16th green, where we had a Christmas Market and enjoyed a gorgeous view of the course. Many thanks to our lovely colleagues who were singing their hearts out with our favourite carols. This event was followed by the Mixed Christmas Scramble and I took the liberty of showing the men a short video of how it is done in the ladies’ section. Many thanks to Christine for her help in producing the video. Hopefully this will inspire our members for

Ladies’ December Monthly Medal

My name is Raghav Gulati and I was born in 2007. My father took me to the golf course the day I turned five and I have never looked back ever since! I had a lot of problems at first, looking up, duffing and topping! Dubai has finally taught me how to keep my head down, be calm and stable!

The final Medal of 2019 was held on the Faldo course on Monday 2nd December. The winner of Silver A Division (handicaps 0-14), was Yana Jamieson with a great score of net 72. The runner-up was Arathi Appaiah who finished with a net 75.

In Silver B Division (handicaps 15-23), Sandra Chia picked up first prize with a score of net 70. Maria Petre finished second with a score of net 72. I am born to Indian parents who luckily don’t have any dreams of me doing engineering or medical sciences. They do wish to see me do well both academically, irrespective of subject choices and in my sport. My siblings are also keen sportspersons, playing tennis and football. My dad has been instrumental in instilling the love for sport in all three of us. Mom supports our interests through nutrition and academic fitness!

Tournaments:

Throughout my seven years of golf I have participated in very few tournaments, most of them being in Dubai. I was only nine when I left India to come to live in this beautiful city. The initial months were intimidating, being new, but now Dubai, EMirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and the Metro, are all second home to me.

I have done reasonably well at the game but as my Dad often reminds me at the dinner table, it’s just the beginning………I am happy to have won the Dubai Creek Summer Series Fixture 3, the Masters Par 3 tournament and the Peter Cowen Junior Tour, including overall champion, boys’ net runner-up and boys’ winner in the last one year.

The Support:

The safe environment, the well thought out and user-friendly processes, the law-abiding citizens have also made it possible for me to pursue my passion. My dad and mum have done their fair share of drops- offs and pick-ups. Donald at the Creek has been of great assistance and so have all my coaches. The Junior Elite programme is lovely to be part of and I look forward to the challenge ahead! I would also like to thank my principal Mrs. Nargish Khammbatta for helping me enrol into the Rahhal programme that allows me to balance both academics and golf.

Clubs:

I started the game in 2012 at the Delhi Golf Club, one of the most difficult golf courses in the world. Today, I am thankful to Steve at the Club and Mike at the Creek. Stefan at Ajman who worked with me in the initial months in UAE, and of course, my Dad has been my best coach, partner, opposition, critique, and has doubled and even tripled up into many hours both on and off the course. I must thank Dubai for the wonderfully safe infrastructure that allows me to play from 6am to 12 midnight. I hope I will remain as motivated as I currently am and social media or IT gadgets won’t get the best of me!

RECIPROCAL CLUBS - Celtic Manor Resort, Wales

SCHOOL OF RULES

Built to stage The 2010 Ryder Cup, the first course to be built specifically for golf’s greatest team tournament, The Twenty Ten measures a robust 7,493 yards off the back tees and has a par of 71.

With the winter temperatures upon us and the Majlis now in fantastic shape after the overseeding period, I certainly hope you will make the most of the build up to this season’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic, especially by capitalising on the special members’ privilege window of January 6th-11th. Ahead of a busy schedule of tournaments here at the Club, please allow me to address a common issue we have encountered regarding tournament scorecards.

The Twenty Ten Course

With water hazards on half of its holes, the course has six signature holes and presents many more memorable tests and risk-and-reward dilemmas. One of the features of the spectacular course is its variety with many of the earlier holes having a links-like feel with long rough and greenside swales, before the middle section reveals the full extent of the lake-lined challenge.

Scorecards

Within the Rules of Golf, effective January 2019, we can refer to Rule 3.3b when it comes to scoring and completing one’s scorecard correctly.

A tough finishing stretch culminates in a real sting in the tail at the 18th.

COURSE FACTS

• Measures 7,493 yards off the back tees

• Built to stage The 2010 Ryder Cup • Par of 71

The Roman Road Course The very first of the Resort’s courses, Roman Road opened in 1995 and was ranked ‘the top inland course in Wales’ by Golf Monthly Magazine. This par 70 course overlooks the Severn Estuary with views across to Somerset and Devon. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, it is named after the old Via Julia Roman highway that ran through its fairways.

Venue for numerous European Tour and Senior Tour events, this challenging course features some long open fairways but also a number of twists and turns through trees and across streams.

When the round has ended:

(2) Player’s Responsibility: Certifying Hole Scores and Returning Scorecard: During the round, the player should keep track of his or her scores for each hole.

• 2015 EuroPro Tour venue

When becoming a member of Dubai Golf, your experience doesn’t end in the club. Enjoy reciprocal rates at courses all around the world.

After each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes taken on that hole (including strokes made and penalty strokes) and enter that gross score on the scorecard.

It is important to note that the emphasis is placed on the individual hole scores on the scorecard, i.e. the 18 individual boxes per the 18 holes on the golf course.

Spectacular views abound with dramatic tee shots over valleys and breathtaking downhill shots. Host course for various professional and high ranking amateur events. • Designed by Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie

(1) Marker’s Responsibility: Entering and Certifying Hole Scores on Scorecard

If the player had more than one marker, each marker must certify the scores for those holes where he or she was the marker.

Offering a spectacular par 69 challenge, the legendary Colin Montgomerie has called on all his Ryder Cup experience to create a course with many exciting tests of strategy.

This rule of golf can be broken down into five separate parts as follows:

The marker must certify the hole scores on the scorecard.

The Montgomerie Course

The player’s score is kept on his or her scorecard by the marker. Score cards should be swapped before play commences. The player must use the same marker for the entire round, unless a change is necessary or unavoidable.

When the round has ended, the player:

• Should carefully check the hole scores entered by the marker and raise any issues with the Committee • Must make sure that the marker certifies the hole scores on the scorecard • Must not change a hole score entered by the marker except with the marker’s agreement or the Committee’s approval

• Must certify the hole scores on the scorecard and promptly return it to the Committee, after which the player must not change the scorecard If the player breaches any of these requirements in Rule 3.3b, the player is disqualified.

It is important to note that the hole scores should be filled in on the scorecard, corresponding with the correct player letter or player number noted at the top, i.e. Player

by Cian Hurley

A’s hole scores should be filled in ONLY in the Player A column on the scorecard, and so on and so forth for each player who may be on the scorecard. It is also important to note that no undue delay should occur when returning scorecards to the Committee, and the process must be completed promptly. (3) Wrong Score for a Hole:

If the player returns a scorecard with a wrong score for any hole: • Returned Score Higher Than Actual Score - The higher returned score for the hole stands. • Returned Score Lower Than Actual Score or No Score Returned - The player is disqualified.

(4) Scoring in a Handicap Competition: The player is responsible for making sure that his or her handicap is shown on the scorecard. If the player returns a scorecard without the right handicap, the following might happen: • Handicap on Scorecard Too High or No Handicap Shown - If this affects the number of strokes the player gets, the player is disqualified from the handicap competition. If it does not, there is no penalty.

• Handicap on Scorecard Too Low - There is no penalty and the player’s net score stands using the lower handicap as shown.

(5) Player Not Responsible for Adding Up Scores or Applying Handicap:

The Committee is responsible for adding up the player’s hole scores and, in a handicap competition, applying the player’s handicap strokes.

If the player returns a scorecard on which he or she has made a mistake in adding up the scores or applying handicap strokes, there is no penalty for doing so. Here is a useful diagram outlining the responsibilities of each particular party involved in correctly completing a scorecard:

It is worth noting that mistakes made by the player or the marker on any addition or subtraction within the scorecard itself, will actually have no effect on the outcome of the player’s score for that tournament. Key Points:

Scorecards should be completed correctly and clearly. The final responsibility of the player’s scorecard rests with the player him/herself, not with their marker.

It is the 18 individual hole scores that are important and they must correspond to the correct player. It is the responsibility of the Committee to ensure that any addition and subtraction is done correctly.

Should you have any questions or wish to discuss any of the above points further, please be sure to catch me around the Club on your next visit!

PRO’S TIP OF THE MONTH shoulder loading’ by Dong Lee, Academy Professional

21

Happy New Year and I wish you the very best for 2020! This article is to give simple, effective visuals and feel regarding one of Peter Cowen’s signature drills - ‘shoulder loading’

NEW HEAD OF RETAIL & CUSTOM FITTING JORDAN GALLAGHER Starting golf at the age of 10, Jordan quickly fell in love with the game. Growing up in the home of golf allowed him to play some of the best courses in the world on a weekly basis. Jordan decided to turn professional in 2012 after a short and successful amateur career.

Many of my students don’t understand what “shoulder loading’ is about so this is by way of a simple explanation for you

Pro’s Tip

Jordan cannot stress the importance and benefits of playing with the correct equipment. It is believed that up to 90 % of golfers do not have the correct equipment in their bag, leading to a number of different issues such as gapping, direction or distance issues. Here at Emirates Golf Club, Jordan can fit for a full range of Titleist & Ping products in addition to a smaller range of Callaway and TaylorMade.

I’m sitting on the table to be served let’s say… The waitress comes and stands behind my chair to give me the menu over my right shoulder…

For any retail, corporate or custom fitting enquires, please contact Jordan@prosports.ae

I raise my right arm to reach out and receive the menu… (please use your imagination - although it could look like I’m calling to get the attention of the waitress… it doesn’t matter !!) This is the shoulder loading… and because we will contracting shoulder muscles to lift the arms… (you will feel the right shoulder loading…)

1 This is now same position with a golf club…. you will feel more with shoulder muscle due to the weight of the club…

If I complete the back swing with both hands on the club, I’m feeling my shoulders are working correctly… they are also in a good strong position ready to reload If you haven’t felt this shoulder loading in the past, give it a try to get a better downswing towards impact and better arm speed to hit the ball further…

THE HYPERMOBILE GOLFER

F&B Update

However, one of the biggest issues among young golfers, is their lack of muscular communication together with the demands of a repeated action of the golf swing.

WHAT’S COOKING? FROM THE KITCHEN OF CHEF NICHOLAS CUOMO

Kimchi & Grilled Chicken Nori Wrap

It is important to note that many people with hypermobile joints don’t have any problems, but some can experience unpleasant symptoms such as :

A new year means a new menu at Jones the Grocer. Try all the new additions from the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus alongside your favourite dishes.

- pain and stiffness in joints and surrounding muscles, especially neck and back pain

SERVES 1

- pain, particularly towards the end of the day or after physical activity - clicking joints - fatigue - pain at night which affects sleep - poor co-ordination - poor balance At Up and Running Rehabilitation Center , we not only look at joint range of motion, but also the control within that range. What we have found is that most of the young athletes experiencing some of the above symptoms have low levels of muscle activation which can give rise to inaccuracy in swing, and higher risk of injury.

1. Low to High Sphynx. Push your hands into the floor and Imagine your wrists and knees are pulling in together. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat 4 times. You want to feel the tension in your abdominals and shoulder blades.

Ingredients 1 nori sheet ½ cup cooked brown rice 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted 1 kale leaf, rib removed and cut into ribbons 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped 1 scallion, thinly sliced coconut aminos, to taste sesame oil, to taste ½ cup kimchi ½ pound grilled chicken, cut into thin strips 1. Place the nori sheet flat on a cutting board. Wet your fingers and use them to spread the rice out in an even layer on the nori sheet, being sure to leave a 1-inch border at the top. Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the rice. 2. In a small bowl, combine the kale, chopped cilantro, and sliced scallion and toss with coconut aminos and sesame oil to taste. Spread this evenly over the rice. 3. Top the kale mixture with a layer of kimchi and place grilled chicken strips down the centre of the wrap. 4. Wet the top border of nori lightly with water and, starting at the bottom, carefully roll up the wrap as tightly as possible, using more water as necessary to get the nori border to adhere to the wrap.

Joint hypermobility is common and it affects 10-15% of children in sport today. A simple definition is that some joints can move beyond a normal range of motion but, with increasing age, we tend to see joint hypermobility decreasing.

The laxity from the joint creates a bigger demand from the muscles to control the swing. If this signalling is inadequate, the force is absorbed primarily through the joint, eventually giving rise to joint pain. Hypermobile clients find stretching easier especially if asked to do in a static nature, but the challenge lies in dynamic mobility where balance, proprioception (the body’s awareness of where the limb is in space), and control are required - just like the swing action. Good mobility does not mean good movement skills. Therefore, I challenge you to try this 5-minute pre-round routine with a partner.

2. Glut Primer Stand tall and push into the golf club as you raise your knee up to 90 degrees. Hold for 10 secs and repeat 4 times each side

Any golfer who doesn’t prepare their body for play is inviting injury, and being hypermobile makes one more vulnerable to this. Originally from Scotland, I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist who has been working in the fitness industry for 15 years.

The Medicine Ball Reverse Wood Chop is another core strengthening rotational exercise, that targets multiple muscle groups at the same time.

Covering all areas of fitness and nutrition, I specialize in designing training programmes for all abilities to help clients achieve their goals. With a professional sporting background and a passion for sport specific training, I can help you get the results you crave on your fitness journey.

Try 12 reps with each exercise, with minimum rest in between. Complete 3-4 times.

Pictured is the open chain’ version of this exercise with just the use of a medicine ball, but it can also be performed as a ‘closed chain’ exercise depending on the stage of training and the desired outcome from the exercise.

Ball Squat Curl to Press – Place a stability ball between your lower back and a wall and hold dumbbells by your sides. Squat down slowly then, squeezing your glutes, stand back up slowly. Do a bicep curl with the dumbbells, then press them up above your head. Reverse the movement and back to the starting point. For more information, please contact Fit Lab on +971 4 295 6000 or email fitlab@dubaigolf.com dubaigolf.com

Push-Ups – Begin in a push-up position with feet and hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Slowly lower body toward ground with a flat back, flexing elbows and retracting shoulder blades. Push back up to starting position. Box Jump – Stand in front of a box or platform with feet shoulder width apart. Using arms, jump up and land on top of the box, keeping toes pointed ahead and knees directly over feet. Hold for 3-5 seconds. Step off box and repeat. Plank – Lie on floor with feet together and forearms on ground. Lift entire body off ground until it forms a straight line from head to toe, resting on forearms and toes. Hold for 5 seconds and return to ground. Repeat. Alternate Lunges – Stand both legs together, with a dumbbell in each hand. Stride forward with one leg and drop down, keeping your back straight throughout. Push up through the thigh and lower leg muscles back to starting position, using your heel, not toes. Repeat with other leg and so on.

If you are an avid golfer, rotational strengthening exercises such as this one can really help to engage parts of the body that are heavily involved in the swinging of a golf club. Whilst challenging your glutes, which help transfer the weight of your swing, your shoulders, which are in charge of stabilising your swing and your core, (which, when engaged properly can increase the power of your swing), the reverse wood chop can help plug the gaps in any training programme where rotational force is necessary and,

by Christopher Mallett

even when it’s not, serves as a incredibly challenging exercise for the recreational gym user. How to perform the Medicine Ball Reverse Wood Chop:

Happy New Year! Let’s get this year started off the right way…in the gym.

1. Grab a medicine ball and hold it with both hands next to one of your hips. 2. Keep your arms straight, slightly bend your knees, and raise the medicine ball across your body and over your opposite shoulder. Be sure to keep the ball as far away from your body as possible to maximise core engagement. 3. Reverse the movement and repeat. 4. Once you complete the desired reps, switch sides and repeat. Start light and give this exercise a try. If you need any help or guidance with it, just
