WHY I LOVE WORKING AT fiber
Working here at fiber.mortgage has been a game-changer. Being a broker, I’m able to offer my borrowers a multitude of lending options thanks to our many lending partners. This allows me to find them their absolute best option! We truly value our customers here, and make sure to leave a lasting impression by providing everyone with an exceptional experience, as well as a smooth closing. Purchasing a home is one of the most stressful processes that you can endure. At fiber, we utilize our efforts as a team to take away that pain to allow you to focus on the joy of their new investment! We provide daily updates of the status of their loan to keep everyone informed throughout the entire process. We also make sure to constantly keep our tech up to date, since our motto is making the lending process easy! Our tech team provides us with weekly upgrades that help streamline the process and allows us to close homes in less than 21 days! Throughout my two years as a broker, I’ve been able to help tons of families purchase AND move into their homes all within the same month. There is truly no greater feeling than making that phone call to let my borrower know they are clear to close.
About Me:
I was born in Atlanta, GA and resided their until moving to Jacksonville in 2017 to sell custom suits! You read that right! I worked with some of the most prominent businessmen throughout the city of Jacksonville. While working as a clothier, I noticed how passionate I was about making an impact in others’ lives. I realized quickly that I wanted to transfer into something that provided me with more meaning so that I was able to make an even bigger impact. Helping people purchase their homes gave me that fulfillment I was seeking. I’ve always been a people person and have quickly developed a large network of realtor clients throughout Florida and Georgia. My passion and work ethic has led to my realtor clients and past borrowers reaching out for assistance with any residential purchase. I am well versed in Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA transactions. My clients value my relentless efforts in making sure the deal gets done, as well as my willingness to always go the extra mile. In my youth, my parents stressed the importance of hard work and empathy for others, and these values have led me to where I am professionally. Each day, my goal is to do better than I did the day before... I haven’t failed yet.

Congratulations, Real Producers, on being so lucky! Forget the late nights, early mornings, missed lunches and dinners, hours on the phone and behind your computer, and in your car – no one wants to hear about all the sacrifices and hard work it took to get to where you are. Oftentimes, it seems some people just see success in others and think they are just “lucky.”

Personal and professional triumphs can happen to anyone with dedication and determination and the understanding that the road is not always smooth. All of us can share stories of mistakes we made along the way. Using these inevitable mishaps as learning opportunities helps propel us to those next levels of success. It’s not “winning” and “losing”; it’s “winning” and “learning”!
But luck has little to do with what you have had to go through to get to where you are. Unfortunately, those same people call successful people “lucky” because that probably makes them feel better and they may feel like they can’t get to where others are because they aren’t that fortunate. Indeed, it seems some people struggle to realize that success takes a lot of time and effort in order to put yourself in a position to get “lucky.”

TAKING THE MORTGAGE LENDING WORLD
BY STORM
There are all the traditional mortgage companies, and then there’s fiber.mortgage. “There are a thousand ‘old school’ lenders who have done it the same way for 30 years, and then there’s fiber,” Dan Ribler begins.
DAN
The company’s vision is simple — to amaze more customers than last month. To accomplish this, fiber.mortgage has created systems that result in a simple, repeatable mortgage lending process. Rather than relying on the way things have always been done, they have reimagined the most effective way to do business.

For REALTORS®: More Listings. More Buyers. More Closings.
Fiber.mortgage places a high priority on their partnerships with real estate agents. They’ve developed seven concrete ways in which they support their partners. Instead of leading with a hand out, the fiber.mortgage team leads by giving.

a fiber LO absolutely gets my cell number. I tell everyone to call me if they aren’t getting ‘eleven out of ten’ service,” Dan smiles, “but my cell is pretty darn quiet on this front. I’m blessed to get to work with a truly amazing team at fiber.” The fiber.mortgage Process
“We focus on building and constantly improving on a process that is pretty darn bullet-proof. It’s massively important to me that we never send a bad pre-approval and that our team takes the time to structure every file correctly.” After each loan file has been submitted, the in-house loan processing team at fiber works every loan, every day.
“There are at least seven things we do for REALTORS® to help them find more closings. Only one of those seven involve sending business to a fiber loan officer,” says Dan. While Dan didn’t share all of the “secret sauce” recipe, he mentioned that the team at fiber.mortgage has tools and support to help agents make the most of their lead generation efforts, improve their lead conversion performance, help their partners get their offers accepted in multiple offer scenarios, and in some cases, even compete with cash offers.
three words, but they are all massively important.”
“Customers” are both external and internal.
You’ll hear the entire fiber team talk about “amazing more customers” regularly in the office.
“Obviously, the buyers and the REALTORS® are the loan officer’s customers,” says Dan, “but we have internal customers too. Our loan officers are customers for the processors, and every fiber employee is a customer for me and the rest of the leadership team.”
“Amaze” means closing a loan in seven calendar days, not thirty. A clear-toclose that fast and painlessly helps REALTORS® get more referrals from each transaction. “Amaze” means building technology that allows REALTORS® to generate pre-approval letters in custom amounts from their phones (only after the borrower has been fully approved, of course).
Seeking to Amaze
“Amaze more customers,” Dan continues. “That’s our mission statement. That’s what we’re all about here at fiber.mortgage. It’s just 14 • March 2022
“More” reflects fiber’s commitment to growth. In the past 12 months, fiber.mortgage has gone from 25 to over 50 employees, and they plan to continue growing.
Dan is one of the few mortgage broker-owners who doesn’t originate loans himself. “I am licensed to originate, and I can write loans, but my focus is on making sure every customer is properly amazed. Any REALTOR® who sends a loan to
We’re hands down the fastest mortgage process on the planet.
“A lot of lenders and brokers use third-party processors. We would never entertain that idea here,” says Matt Brader, who oversees processing at fiber. “Not only is it more expensive for the buyers, but we’d have a lot less control over the consumer experience and origination process.”
Processor Team: Dan Ribler, Shania Campbell, Tricia Washington, Angelica McPherson, Elliott Ramos, Maria Espinoza, Matt Brader
“If we help our REALTOR® partners grow their book of business, we’re doing it right,” says Dan. “Of course, our rates are silly low, and our loan process is super fast, but that’s just table stakes. At fiber, we do our best to make the REALTOR®/Loan Officer relationship a true two-way street, which means helping them generate more closings in a really short period of time.”
For more information, visit fiber.mortgage.
The fiber team takes the loan process very seriously. The in-house processors truly are in-house. All processors come into the office every day to ensure everyone has enough support for every file to be processed cleanly. “I’m really proud of the work our processors do,” Dan explains. “I think the purest grade of the quality of their work can be found in our online reviews.” Word on the Street
Fiber.mortgage’s reviews are pretty impressive. As of today, fiber sports 127 Google reviews; every single one of them is five out of five stars. It’s the same story on Facebook, LendingTree, and Zillow – hundreds of reviews, all five stars. Dan loves spending his free time with his family and especially enjoys being a flag football coach.

angela rising star
By Michelle Williamson
STANCIL
A New Home and Career Angela Stancil, an agent and member of Team Davidow with Coldwell Banker Vanguard, didn’t enter real estate the usual way. In fact, she didn’t expect to become an agent at all. After earning two master’s degrees, one in elementary education and the other in administration, she expected a lifelong career in K-12 education. Angela began teaching at the K-12 level then she took on an assistant principal role in the 16th largest school district in the nation in her hometown of Raleigh, NC. Her plans were progressing smoothly. Five years ago, however, a job opportunity in Jacksonville emerged for her husband, Lonnie, that became the catalyst for the family’s move to Florida and Angela’s new real estate career path. “We decided we needed a change of location and pace,” shares Angela. The couple and their two young children, now eight-year-old Isabella and five-year-old Brody, left their Raleigh hometown for Jacksonville. And today, not only do the Stancils love their Florida life, Angela has a whole new thriving real estate career she absolutely cherishes. “I expected to remain in education,” Angela reflects on her career transition. “I never thought anything else 18 • March 2022
would fit into my heart and life the way education did, until real estate fell into my lap,” she recalls.
Angela’s entrance into real estate came from the pair’s emerging friendship and Angela’s quick immersion into the real estate sector.

An Emerging REALTOR®
The relocation company the Stancils worked with as they prepared for their Jacksonville move introduced them to Aimee Davidow, REALTOR®, team lead of Team Davidow with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Fleming Island. “From the first moment Aimee and I met, we hit it off,” says Angela. “We connected in a way I can’t describe.”
overcoming obstacles, and success stories were my life before real estate, it just so happens that is also my life now in real estate.”
The Stancils’ children were young when they moved, so Angela was unsure of entering the workforce again. “Aimee asked if I wanted to help with social media management and behind-thescenes paperwork,” Angela says. “She was growing faster than she could handle on her own, and the opportunity was perfect. I could work at home on my own time.”
Angela’s responsibilities continued to grow until the only next move was for Angela to get her real estate license. She received the license in March 2019 then started standing in at home inspections, opening doors for potential buyers, and before long Angela became the newest member of Team Davidow.
Quickly, Angela found she thrived in the role, and her responsibilities kept expanding. Before long, Angela became Aimee’s personal assistant and was helping with as much of the business as she could. “I treated Aimee’s business like it was my own company,” she says. “During this time, I had an incredible opportunity to learn the business backward—from the business standpoint. I truly attest my success to that experience. Not only did I learn the business side first, I learned it from Aimee, someone who cares about her people, about her name, about Coldwell Banker Vanguard’s name, about the community, about making relationships for life, not just handling transactions. Her view on life matched my view so seamlessly. People, families, @realproducers

Yet even with her prior experience, “being a REALTOR® was difficult at first for me,” Angela remembers. “Being new here and finding my sphere’s support took a little bit,” she says. “Once I finally found my niche and secured my first closing, the gates just opened, and I haven’t looked back. I wouldn’t be here, though, without the support of my team. We are a collective group of six strong women, moms who love to learn and grow. We bring out the best in each other.” Helping Families Find Home
BUYERS TRUST US. REALTORS REFER US.
We Bring the Joy to Every Inspection
Having done so herself, Angela understands the relocation experience and the needs of families moving into a new city and state. She works mostly with incoming families. “I love helping families find the right area,” says Angela. “As we were searching for our new home in a place we knew nothing about, our real estate agent provided tours of many different areas.” “I remember driving through two areas and tears filled my eyes. It wasn’t right. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the areas, but neither was right for us. When we toured Fleming Island, where we now live, from the second we drove over the bridge, I knew it would be our new home. I can’t describe it in words, but it was right, and I knew it in an instant,” she smiles.

“I want to duplicate this feeling for my customers.” Angela knows finding a new home can be stressful, especially for individuals and families moving into the greater Jacksonville area from other states. “I always strive to help customers discover that feeling of home. Everyone deserves that peace.”

DJ Lindsey
DellaSala Client First
The most important ingredient for success in any business is people-centric leadership. DJ and Lindsey DellaSala know this perfectly. That is why their brokerage, DJ & Lindsey Real Estate, is both customer-focused and agent-centered.
Into Real Estate
Fun with the Family
Both DJ and Lindsey DellaSala come from the service industry: fine dining and bartending. In 2005, DJ’s son, Noah, was born. For DJ, it was clear that he would need to find a way to provide a life and future for his son. That same year, DJ went directly into selling real estate.
DJ’s son, Noah, is 16 now. As he gets older, DJ and Lindsey are looking forward to Noah getting his real estate license in a couple of years and joining them. DJ likes to surf wherever there are waves, and he plays golf during much of his recreational time. Lindsey enjoys her Pilates classes and is currently looking to spend more time playing tennis this year.
Lindsey was also a teacher before going into real estate. Specifically, she taught second grade in Orlando. After that, she decided to move back to St. Augustine where she decided to change careers. Her whole family is heavily involved with the construction, development, and sale of real estate. So logically, “it was a natural transition to getting into the business,” she explains.

For Lindsey, it was as simple as “joining the family business.” Lindsey truly enjoys what she does. As seen in her teaching background, her love of teaching and deep understanding of different learning styles easily transitions into real estate. “As a former teacher, I love getting to educate buyers and sellers on the process,” she explains. “I also love training and seeing new or seasoned agents having fast success or buying and selling their own real estate.”
As a family, they enjoy traveling together. Their shared love of traveling naturally combines with their passion for buying and renovating properties. “Currently, we are building our personal portfolio of luxury vacation rentals.” Since 2012, they have renovated over 50 different properties.
As for DJ, he also delights in the process of educating buyers and sellers.

“For agents, this translates to earning lots of referral business, locally and nationally, because people trust us with their people. Our agents are able to hit the ground running with customers who want to work with us,” says DJ.
A little-known detail that they are proud of is the fact that top real estate educator and best-selling author Tom Ferry is not only their personal real estate coach, but he also officiated their wedding. Strength in Teamwork
For their business, DJ and Lindsey are currently focused on expansion. “We’re currently a team of 150 and we would love to have 500 people with our company by the end of 2022,” DJ says. One of their core goals inside DJ & Lindsey Real Estate is to raise leaders from within. “Brittany Nolan has been with us since the beginning, and she is actually one of our brokers,” says Lindsey. “Brett Moreland and Travis Moore are also working on becoming Brokers so they can continue to lead with knowledge AND experience.” “Our entire staff is some of the kindest people on the planet,” Lindsey
This has been their philosophy since they opened their first brokerage in 2013.

Client-First Philosophy
DJ & Lindsey Real Estate takes focusing on its clients to a new level. “The consumer has always been our North Star,” DJ explains. “We are a brokerage focused on perfecting the consumer experience. We know that if we always put the consumer first, we will be able to grow our business based on a great foundation,” DJ shares. However, many businesses now follow this same consumer-first approach, and DJ and Lindsey know this. They know that there is a big difference between proclaiming that you are client-centric and proving it.
Our entire staff is some of the kindest people on the planet. They all work together as a true team, always finding ways to make things better or more efficient!
“There are so many agents and flavors of brokerages, that in order for us to stand out, we had to do everything in our power to earn a five-star review on every transaction with our customers,” says Lindsey.
Looking to the Future
For their business, DJ and Lindsey are excited about their goal to grow their company by 350 people to 500 team members by the end of the year. “We’d love to see our agents continuing on a path towards financial freedom, buying, selling, and holding investment properties,” DJ explains.
“Personally, we want to continue investing in real estate and creating unique vacation experiences with our properties,” Lindsey explains. “We love buying and renovating properties, improving a neighborhood or a street.” It is abundantly clear that success can be greatly attributed to their focus on people and the genuine joy they have within their industry. It is a bright future for DJ and Lindsey DellaSala and for their team and clients as they continue to dedicate their efforts with a people-first mindset. THINKING OUTSIDE THE SANDBAR BOX
Few can so powerfully serve a community, but there are even fewer who can be so undeniably the heart of a community as well.
parents were basically born and raised in Florida, so this was considered their home, in which it became my home.”
Kira Sikes, owner of Sandbar Realty, is unquestionably one of these hearts of a community. Whether someone has been there forever or is looking to move in, Kira will be there to assist them with their needs.
Kira’s family moved from the country into the city in the mid-1990s. She graduated high school in 2002 and immediately set her sights on adventure. She highlights that “all I wanted to do was start my own business and travel the world. I didn’t want to be tied down by a husband or children.”

“I am an advocate for the people who live here and want them to know that I am a resource to them for anything they need,” she explains. Sandbar Realty’s mission: “We do more than just open doors and sell houses...we provide consultation and planning services for your immediate and future real estate needs.” GROWING UP STRONG
Kira was born in Nuremberg, Germany while her mother was visiting her military father. Her family moved back into the United States, where they eventually settled in the Maxville area of Jacksonville. “My

“But ultimately, it led me to my now-husband, and the world of real estate,” she explains. Much of what she has done has been for her first son. “I just hope and pray that every path I went down and pushed through showed him and instilled in him the same things I learned from my parents as a child.” Now, 18 years later, she loves spending time with her family.
This plan was suddenly brought to a halt when she became pregnant in 2003, at the age of 18. “It was a huge pivotal moment that ultimately changed the entire direction my life was going,” she notes. But such an unexpected circumstance is not nearly enough to stop someone like Kira. “Thankfully, my upbringing taught me that we move forward and push through. We just make things happen, no matter what is thrown our way, even if the things were a result of decisions we made ourselves.”
Kira enjoys spending time with her husband and sons.
SHIFTING INTO REAL ESTATE
Kira got her two-year degree in October of 2012. Shortly after her second son was born, she and her husband formed a partnership with a friend to run a very successful roofing company. Due to its growth, she and her husband had the opportunity to develop two successful roofing branches in Hawaii. Although there are many benefits to living in Hawaii, “there is just no place like home.” “Upon moving back to Jacksonville, there were a lot of goals and aspirations my husband and I had. One being, we wanted to begin investing into real estate through buying homes to rehab and resale.”
Kira is proud of her boutique-style brokerage and her Sandbar Realty team.

Stunning Aerial Photography & Video Providing High-quality Photography Services to Builders and Realtors Kira got her real estate license in 2014 with no intention of going into the outside community. She notes how this changed when “our business partner we had in the roofing industry asked me to list one of his rental properties for him.” “What I would discover upon helping my friends and family is that I absolutely loved serving others earning money in their investments as well as seeing the joy inside the families when I found them their first or forever home.” Kira has a passion for connecting with others: “I love to have fun with all my people, but I also take what I do very seriously and am always striving to make others’ lives better and easier for them.” PERSONABLE SERVICE
Kira recognizes that nearly all of her clients have similar goals. However, she also knows that every person is their own person, and so there is not a one-size-fits-all approach in this industry. “A lot of professionals in this business focus on the here and now. My approach is a little different in that aspect,” she elaborates. “I like to call it the ‘outside the sandbar box’ approach. I focus on the long-term or the bigger picture. I try to instill this in all my past, current, and even future clients.”
I focus on the longterm or the bigger picture. I try to instill this in all my past, current, and even future clients. She talks about how she will take in clients that no others are willing to. “They were turned away simply because their credit wasn’t great, and the real estate professional couldn’t help them because they, the buyer, didn’t have the credit to buy right now.” “It’s all about figuring out what each person needs and wants, then finding a way to make that happen for them. Finding a way to get ‘outside the sandbar box’ to figure out the fastest, and best way to make their dreams and goals come to life. To get them off their stranded ‘sandbar’ amidst the crashing waves and help them to their ‘new shore’ they want to venture on.” REACHING FURTHER
Kira is thankful for her parents and children.

for the people in our community, the best experience available,” she shares. “We think it is very important to screen possible tenants to the max in order to make sure we are putting quality people in our clients’ homes.” Sandbar Realty has an additional ongoing project serving its community. What Kira calls their “hero program,” Sandbar Realty offers special opportunities to save on various services to its local heroes, such as teachers, healthcare professionals, military, law enforcement, and other public servants who are buying or selling a home in Northeast Florida.
