MEDIA ADVISORY Oklahoma State Students use creative stunt to draw attention to school name change.
On September 30, Oklahoma State students will participate in a flash mob to promote the School of Journalism and Broadcasting name change to the School of Media and Strategic Communications. That evening, the Oklahoma State Cowboys host fellow Big 12 football team Texas A&M, with kick off at 6:30 p.m. WHO: Hosted by Oklahoma State School of Media and Strategic Communications students and supporting Oklahoma State students. WHAT: A number of Oklahoma State students will present a flash mob to the crowd. Students will dance to various well-‐known songs while energizing the crowd for the football game. WHEN: The flashmob will begin immediately following the scheduled 4:30pm Oklahoma State spirit walk. WHERE: Oklahoma State University Campus Corner of Hester St. and Athletic Ave. Stillwater, OK 74074 WHY: Students are participating in the flash mob to promote Oklahoma State School of Journalism and Broadcasting name change. This year, the college name was changed to the Oklahoma State School of Media and Strategic Communications.
